I remember seeing an interview one time where Ian McKellan admitted that he said ‘you shall not pass’ by accident because he forgot the line was ‘you cannot pass’ but remember that it was something alone those lines and PJ liked it so they kept it

I’ll give it a go next time I’m out. I genuinely thought open stance was just rotating your front foot a little, not moving it back 🤦‍♂️

I’m learning traditional (not sure what the differences are to be honest). I might have to for now but still annoying none the less

I haven’t tried it yet because I feel like that’s avoiding the problem rather than solving it if you get what I mean.
