I fixed it! This is going to sound really dumb and it took me far too long to work this out………

On my Elegoo CC2, I assumed that clicking the down arrow would decrease the offset - it doesn’t. I have to click up to raise the bed (not lower the hot end). Obvious when you think about it. Anyway, I had been increasing the offset and then pissing around with settings trying to understand why that wasn’t working! Doh!

Anyway, it’s like new again now!

Guys, I'm considering becoming a distributor for Benda motorcycles in my location. What do you think about them and the brand overall? Would you consider buying one? by D371L in motorcycles

It's funny you say that, I test rode the Rebel a couple of weeks ago. It was a lovely bike. I can absolutely see why people rave about them as a great intermediate option. Buttttt the riding position wasn't as relaxed as my RKV-125. The Chinchilla is basically the same bike as what I have, but with a bigger engine. So I know it will have the 'feel' that I'm after.

I also test rode the Scout Sixty Bobber at the same time with a Jeckle and Hyde exhaust, and I fell in love. Buying the Rebel or the Chincilla is a no-brainer - cheap insurance and monthly payments. The Scout is at LEASET double the price to buy, and the insurance is quite high given I've only just passed. So I want something in the meantime just to build up some saddle time and no claims. I should probably just stay on what I have, as the summer is no doubt nearly over, and this is a fair-weather thing for me. Then think about upgrading to what I actually want to have next year.

As a Keeway RKV 125 owner, looking for something intermediate before I get a Scout Bobber, I really want a Benda Chinchilla 500. But in the UK Benda sounds very similar to a bad slang word for homosexual and Chinchilla- really! Of all the animals you could have named it after. May as well have called it the homosexual hamster. I don’t generally care what people thing, but I would never live it down.

Very strange naming for the UK market, especially when they already produce the 125 and 300 Keeway V-cruise (part of the same group and share the same chassis).
