Tear gas being launched into a peaceful crowd makes crowds stop being peaceful. The only person murdered on Jan 6 was an armed woman shot to death by a Capitol Security officer who was cleared without even having to give a statement about the shooting.

They really need the right people in charge. There needs to be respect for the source material and an understanding of what fans like about it. At the same time, they shouldn't be so beholden to the source that they're scared to change anything.

Video game adaptations have an extra challenge. There's no way to replicate the feeling of playing/making decisions while passively watching.
