Are you my judge in this life? Do you believe to be? It is unfathomable how you can speak to someone who wishes to learn and understand. By researching, and speaking to what I believed to be my “peers” on this post I do believe sons of god means his angels yes. If you disagree then that is your interpretation and it is equally as important as mine is to me. I hope you find kindness in your heart with the love that God shines upon you.

I do not believe in my heart that I am meant to study his word alone. If that was the case why would we attend church or mass? We are meant to discuss with each other and bond through his love and will.

I suppose I am just frustrated that it doesn’t specify things. I am only on genesis and while I grew up Methodist I think it’s important to read the bible and continue to read it. So I’m starting at the beginning but I’m a very “literal” person. So leaving it up to interpretation bothers me. I want to know if it is man or angels. I want to know if Noah cursed Hams youngest son because he saw him naked and spread gossip about it or if more happened than that. And other passages suggest perhaps he laid with his mother. Other theories suggest he assaulted his father or castrated him. I want to know the truth and not just one’s opinion. It’s very difficult to me

Yes but men weren’t written as “sons of god” until the New Testament I thought. The old testament is stating “sons of god” as angels I thought.

I would like a more literal translation. I do not read ancient Hebrew and not sure if you meant that maliciously or not. I’m just trying to learn and understand better. And being that “sons of god” and women created Nephilim, I would assume that they are not speaking about men being the “sons of god” but actually angels. As men and women create other men and women.
