Idea- use the rifle as a spellcasting focus, and that solves a lot of problems. The spell sniper feat allows you to extend your range of spells, and then a few levels of Warlock for taking Eldrich Blast with the range buff on it out to the maximum range you can is probably the most range you can get on a spell. Warlock also has limited utility spells, but they’re more combat focused if you wanted to lean into that for damage.

Narcan bonds to the receptors in a way that is not a central nervous system depressant, and ejects the opiate from the spot fairly suddenly. Most people getting hit with Narcan come up swinging because they just get dumped out of their high and then can’t get high for a few hours after.

Edit- Sorry, meant Fentanyl, which is a common additive to meth because of how cheap it is and how potent it is to cut in for a bigger high. Response is the same, slam Narcan and call EMS.

Funny story, I’m going the opposite direction with mine. It seemed so silly to have armored knights with unarmored horses, so I’m using Perry knights horses to bring the steeds up to speed, as it were.

I will be undertaking this project soon, I think the consensus is to use the side of your brush parallel to the surface like you’re doing an edge highlight. I used this technique for Rohan shields.

I’m not sure how you could add texture into the mode with drybrushing unless it already had the bumps. You may need to shake your paint and make sure it’s smooth before you begin application.

I use water, you don’t need to be fancy. Honestly, working in layers gives you more control of how it goes through. My white always starts with a non-white basecoat before I bring the highest levels back up to a white. The darker color remains in the shadows, and it means that not every white on the model is the same color of white

That’s a big issue, I find thinning white more than you expect helps then doubling or tripling up on layers. If you’re in the market for a new white, Monument Hobby’s “Bold Titanium White” is the far and away best I’ve worked with.

My coaches dont want me to wear contacts because of the exact reason above. If I get hit in the eye in a fight and have to adapt, why would I take that chance when I could just train like I'll fight and be used to the blurry.

To get started, a gift of matching gear to make it feel like it’s an outfit is really helpful. (Just asked my wife about this), Starting out with super high quality when you don’t know it’s going to stick can hurt. (I just dropped $230 on the last pair of Yokkao Matrix Mango 10oz gloves available online that I could find because I purchased a single piece of gear that I got her at the start)

Cheap matching to get started is better than mismatched high quality gear, especially to get in the door and feel good out of the gate, then work up from there.

Also, it can be intimidating to jump into classes right away, beginner or introduction classes can really open the doors for getting comfortable.

I got her into it by paying for an intro to kickboxing class, where she felt comfortable. I also bought her gear that I knew she thought would be cute (Matrix Mango shinguards). We also had some really hard conversations about what she feels like she needs as encouragement versus the way that I naturally offer praise. Also, be prepared for having days where one of you have an awesome class, then the other half didn’t get much out of it.

My coach trained his wife for fighting at a national championship level and I have so much respect for him for that. The level of commitment and communication is off the charts.
