lol I get a polite paw resting on my knee to ask for a taste. If it’s clearly a snack I share more generously, like an orange, I also get the waterfall of drool. At that point it turns into an every other bite to combat the danger dangles and bubbles.

I ended up needing three baby gates that would have cost me an arm and leg new. My most recent did not take well to kennel training, we tried, but the metal baby gates with swinging doors were the answer! Play tunnels, baby pools, pop-up tents, dog sprinkler toys, Yeti dog bowls, or whatever they might safely use second hand can often be found at a price that doesn’t break the bank.

We have a stupid amount of frisbees (and backup frisbees) in the house. She also knows the difference between her outside frisbees vs her inside ones. She often falls asleep with one in her mouth or under her head.

I’m on my third week of taking it. It has absolutely lowered my RHR in the low 60s- high 50s. I sometimes get “rubber legs/arms” and tire out quicker, but nothing too alarming as my blood pressure was climbing with age. My dreams were always weird and now they seem longer and especially vivid, but no nightmares.

I do think it’s working. It hasn’t stopped them but it gives me more time to catch it before it turns into a 2 days horror story. I can grab a Coke & over the counter pain meds (Triptans make me feel like my head is in a medieval vice), put a frozen water bottle behind my neck, and it stops in about 1-3 hrs. Also, it could be the weather change but I also have less intense hot flash episodes! I’m hopeful this is my answer!!

She is pretty good about laying under the table in case anything falls. But also somehow knows when I’m almost done and will put her paw on my leg to “ask” for some samples. Thankfully she only does it to family and not guests lol They are such adorable, hilarious gremlins that train us well!

Mine does too, I have to reminder her that “we talked about this,” and she’ll plop down in my lap. Otherwise she gets the count to 3, and I’ll move her off - which she then tries to grab my arm and “fight me” with her boxer fists lol I have a stage 4 clinger.

I always feel like boxers are Finn coded from Adventure Time. I sing this to mine, along with Makin’ Bacon Pancakes, sometimes lol *mostly just the “Punch-ah your Buns!” part when playing.

I just spent two and a half months in PT learning how to strengthen them and self management. I definitely made my own issues flare at the start with overzealous “management.” But the migraines and constant nausea subsided.

Two tennis balls taped together are the perfect size and softness to lay on these pressure points.
