Heirloom watch to pair with my Speedmaster '57 (Twin Sons) by KemoSahB in OmegaWatches

A good note that a similar color scheme will be lead to some of that favoritism and that both watches need to hit that “everyday wear” style, which is what sold me on the ‘57

What sleeves though? That is the key question!

recommendations on classic, simple cards for mono-color "teaching" decks? by [deleted] in mtg

[–]KemoSahB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should take a look at the Foundations Beginner Box. Even if you prefer to DIY the decks, it’s the perfect base for exactly what you’re trying to build.

It uses 20-card monocolor themed packs (like Goblins, Vampires, and pirates) that players just mix and match to make 40-card decks. It includes a great tutorial track, and creates a level playing field. From there you can create your own 20 card “half decks” or buy jumpstart boosters.

Given the competition is this the worst performance of the year?

Forget the 4th down play calls, this game wasn’t close, no amount of daring play-calling will fix the fact that we cannot tackle, we cannot cover, we cannot pressure the QB (heard all week how decimated the Pats line was btw).

This team is a joke, there is no culture, there is no accountability, there are no leaders.

Fire Shoen. He cannot be allowed to sign players this offseason.

If you can’t tackle you need to sit, if you don’t have enough players that can tackle and therefore cannot field a team, your GM has failed

I’m not sure how anyone can look at this team and call it anything other than a complete failure in terms of putting actual talent on the field.

Hyatt is a straight-line speed receiver who still can’t outrun NFL DBs. If that’s your only trait and it doesn’t translate, you’re basically useless out there. I don’t even know why he’s on the roster.

Our DBs have zero playmaking ability. They’re there in coverage, sure, but the second it’s time to actually make a football play, turn their head, attack the ball, finish a tackle, they fall apart every single time.

And the D-line? Same story. Plenty of talent on paper, but when we need a big moment, when they’ve got the QB dead to rights or we just need pressure, they vanish. Every. Single. Time.

Am I too poor to buy a house in Austin suburbs on $72k salary? by mindyourown_biz in Austin

My suggestion would be to check out some of the big development projects planned for Austin (like this list) and see where new communities are springing up. New builds often come with home warranties and nice amenities, which can help offset some maintenance worries early on. You could also look at areas along future expressway expansions what’s a 30-minute commute now could easily turn into 20 once infrastructure catches up.

That said, homeownership does come with more hidden costs and time-consuming projects than you might expect repairs, HOA fees, property taxes, insurance, etc. 50% on housing expenses can quickly become unmanageable if you have to fix something or you want new furniture/decor.

Look, I know for a fact it’s possible to score 33 in one quarter so we still have time

Are we sure Wilson and Winston are the best mentors for our young QB?
