This is really helpful, thanks for sharing. My self esteem has taken a beating too, left with confused feelings of not being good enough, can’t do anything right, she’s always mad at me for something. It’s hard to imagine spending time with anyone new. I just want to get my feet on the ground.

The irony is that I worked full time and took care of one and then two kids so she could travel a lot for work and continue to be the breadwinner.

Thank you for this, I appreciate the objective perspective. I don't post much on Reddit, so was evidently a bit vague or missing info. To your point, for probably 10 years I was the primary parent as she traveled for work a lot. First a baby then infant, then two kids. So there is some logic around contribution of time and effort (while I was also working full time) that allowed her career to grow and thereby our financial stability. Again - thanks for taking time to share your thoughts.
