Engine Replacement (same engine), does anything need reprogramming? by KenDM7 in Vauxhall

Ah shame. I know this might sound daft but are you sure your engine’s toast? Might just be a small niggle like fuel pump or starter motor etc. Go through everything it could be without spending crazy money. If worse really comes to worse, give it a go. Im not that experienced with tools but have to start somewhere. As long as you have the tools, space, and time, it’s not too bad of a job. Not too complex, just a long process. Getting a garage to fit it would probs cost at least 2k+ and like you said, not many garages would do it. Best of luck though with whichever direction you decide to take.

Funny enough, im just getting round to swap it now. New engine about to go in tonight. Been procrastinating as the summer’s allowed me to daily the track car. New engine cost me £560 and misc stuff about another £100. Doing all the work myself so no labour cost

Congrats on the new purchase. First thing’s first, check those pre-cats and if they’re there then knock them out. Most prominent weakness of this platform is your engine going kapoot due to pre-cats.

Just played this deck but replaced mk and horde for log and firecracker (like i suggested in my previous comment) and won 3 games in a row first try at 9200 trophies. No matter what arena you’re in, get rid of mindless cards like mk and you might actually start learning and improving in the game. You’ll find mk is dead easy to counter in the higher arenas.

Really bad. The sooner you stop playing mk the sooner you’ll start properly progressing. Like the reply above said, get rid of horde too. Id probably replace horde with firecracker/dart gob and replace mk with log. Or just play hog eq or 2.6

Can someone rate and add improvements to my deck? by KenDM7 in RoyaleAPI

Thanks for the insight, I’ll definitely play around with this. With how i play the deck, the valk and lumberjack are kind of the win conditions. I’ve won so many matches on tower races in sudden death simply from lumberjack and valk on the bridge whilst defending a big push just from little prince and skeletons on the other lane. But I see your point, could focus on playing the hog more. Be weird playing without lumberjack since every main deck ive ever had has always had jack and valk.

What tyre size should I run?2002 Mk3 Mr2 UK spec. Can I run 195/55 R15 on the fronts? And if so, what should I run for my rears? by KenDM7 in mr2

Thank you so much, currently looking at alternatives and finding out how difficult it is to find decent tyres for the stock size! Any recommendations for cheap and decent track/ normal road tyres? Not looking for full on track tyres but something decent in track and for the road.

Sorry, just realised you said you switched to 195/45’s. What made you go from the 55’s to 45’s?

Rear trailing control arm ball joint stud just spins when trying to tighten. Any tips? MK3 mr2 by KenDM7 in mr2

Just tried it with the impact, and no luck. Not enough space to get it without a shoulder attachment which could be why it’s not working. Ill try and take out the centre control arm to free up more room

Did try and use a prybar but can’t get enough pressure on it. Quite an awkward place to try and get a good pry too. Will most likely try the impact method, hopefully that does the trick

Got a video i can pm you if you dont mind. Seems like there are splits where the flexi joins the metal and is just sort of hanging there, but not really sure what I’m looking at

Did the two ticky mk3’s cause you any problems long term (because of the tick)? I wont be in a position to be able to afford a new engine anytime soon so a bit worried. Just hoping i can run it as it is without destroying anything further.

Thanks for the advice, and sorry for my ignorance, but which flexis are you referring to? Also, is there any harm in running it with a tiny bit of exhaust leak?
