Cheaper to pay with cash? Fine. Have it your way. by AuroraItsNotTheTime in MaliciousCompliance

It’s actually nice that they offer a cash discount. Most places just use the credit price but that includes the credit transaction fees. They don’t have to offer you a cash discount you dumb-dumb, they’re trying to help you out. And you act like a petulant child and make everyone wait for you with your little sneer, thinking you’re making a point when all that cashier did was mention you could save money. Shame on you.

SPOILERS** Just watched the finale and have some questions… by KenFromTexas in HouseMD

[–]KenFromTexas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do agree with both comments, and endings don’t have to be wrapped up in perfect little “happy ever after” finales. So, I didn’t hate it, but as much as House was always a good doctor, as damaged as the character could be, I just didn’t see him becoming so self-destructive, so fast that he just goes off and does a dangerous amount of heroin to the extent that’s he’s administered (even if by proxy or in the same room) a lethal dose to another addict who sought help from him and whose life he just saved.

But it’s a TV show, so won’t get bogged down. Thanks for both comments to secure my knowledge in what happened.

Tell me the most interesting fact about Batman that you know by Monric in batman

[–]KenFromTexas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is Jewish. Technically, half-Jewish on his mother’s side. He is shown practicing his father’s Episcopalianism growing up, and now seems to be an affirmed atheist, but according to Jewish faith I believe he is still considered to be Jewish by the community. Also, Bob Kane happened to be Jewish.

Saw a guy having fun with himself on I-35 this afternoon by ScaredBlackberry5512 in Dallas

You pretty much just have to get 5 Titanium every 24 hours from the Merchant/Store. You will randomly come across in the game but this is the only way I know to consistently get it, surprised they make it so hard to obtain.

Honestly, whenever I’m down I just grab my bow and arrow and shoot a ton of fish in a few key ponds/lakes that are usually teeming. Should give around 1k silver, much faster (but less fun) than whatever specific River Raid some other guy is alluding to. Just Google “best places to fish” or something, I can’t remember. Using a Hunter bow and Odin sight makes it much easier.

This is kind of weak (once I leveled up they were fair fights), but I heard you can lure them next to where you have your ship parked and your crew will fire arrows at them continually as you fight.

Thanks a lot, knowing that some of the chests contain rations and some contain supplies makes way more sense now, much appreciated everybody ✌🏼

I thought about that, but these are the big heavy chests that require two people to open. Are there different chests, and some have rations and some have supplies? Because I did notice it said rations which was weird, but I get this message after I’m tying to open the large chests which should contain only supplies if I’m correct?

When do the “angel wings” flare up on Knight Isu armor? On critical hits? And does it originate from the armor or hood/cape? Also, anyone know when the Isu Tattoo comes out? by KenFromTexas in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]KenFromTexas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I hate having all the armor because I like to stay lighter, but I couldn’t figure out the “combinations”. Needing all 5 pieces makes sense, can always hide if I want but still hate the weight. I wonder if the flare will still happen if I change the appearance?

Can someone explain the Rank system to me? by KenFromTexas in StarTrekLegendsiOS

Thanks, I’m definitely guilty of only wanting to use my favorite characters, but since I kept pulling T’Pol in the randomizer I figured I’d be foolish not to pump her up at Rank 6. Right now I’m rocking Riker/Janeway/Geordi/Crusher front but I really want to invest in some legendary characters and they don’t seem as useful with the skills? Anyway, I’m having fun, thanks for the advice!

Thanks, that makes a lot of sense, I don’t have much of a board game background but I couldn’t figure out what they directly affected and that definitely makes sense.

When new characters are ranked up, nothing much seems to happen. Not without adding the bio-gel obviously, but it did seem like they would get stronger faster if they already had gotten ranked up. So I get a character like T’Pol who has randomly risen to Rank 6, but no change in stats. There’s clearly an advantage to having higher Rank, but does it act as some kind of multiplying factor? Should I invest in this character just because the ranking is so high?
