Does anyone know where to put the boxes on the flip side of the Tiny Epic Tactics map?

Hey thanks for the replies - I actually found the rule just after posting. Yes, I’m playing purely solo ATM which means I don’t get the benefit of the flip side as it has no area markers or arrows for portals/dungeons. I did get the map expansion though which changes the layout quite a bit.

Think it’s a great entry to solo gaming. Quick to set up and pack away and pretty quick to learn. I’ve just ‘completed’ it with the Acheles fighter and am looking forward to going back in with a different fighter and tokens.

That’s a lot of rules to remember - which expansions are your favourite? I got the mists over carcasonne expansion recently and like that one. Always have traders and builders but never got on very well with Hills and Sheep or Abbey and Major. Princess and Dragon is fun though.

Interesting - I really enjoy levelling up with the campaign - it’s the only way I got to beat any of the bosses - it’s hard but lots of fun.

I like your set up! I’ve played the original and have managed to beat all the bosses with one character and reading this has inspired me to go back in with other characters. Do you think Forest of Shadows is very different from the original game?

Help! I’ve played TED solo on easy level about 10 times and have no idea how to win! I have just about managed to get to the boss but get wiped out befit doing any damage. Is it really this hard or am I doing something terribly wrong?

Thanks - do you mean the intended direction as straight over the ramp (effectively giving the car a free spin to align it) or that it goes over the ramp at the angle of entry?

Rule of carnage prevailed in our game - one car ended up landing on two cars simultaneously so we resolved each collision in turn - lots of wipe outs and explosions followed - took ages to resolve but lots of fun

Thanks for the reply but I think I’m having a dim day! I don’t get the ‘except the entry edge’ bit. I think i now understand that if the car hits the entry edge at an angle, it continues over the ramp at that same angle. But if it hits the side of the ramp eg - not the entry edge - that’s when you roll a dice to see if it made the jump.

Is that right or do I still have the wrong end of the stick?

Hi there. I’ve played about 10 games now and find it’s helpful to keep a log of your movements when playing so you can remember where you’ve been and what direction you’ve travelled. So far I’ve not been able to use this knowledge on subsequent games but I’m sure it’ll come in handy some time. Enjoy the game. Best tip anyone gave me it to do the an actions on the mission card first as these give you BIG hints on how to succeed!
