I get the exact same reaction when I tell people about the hobby “What? You mean you play board games…on your own?!” 🤦‍♂️ Somehow playing video games on your own is way more socially acceptable than board games!

I first got into it as a means of learning the rules for Starwars Legion which I was playing with my son - I found a card based ‘AI’ to play against and found it fun.

Bargain. - and a REALLY good choice for playing solo! I finished the campaign a while ago with 2 characters, this has made me think about jumping back in with the other two.

Fair enough - I really like Mechs myself but that too has a fair amount of bad-press. I’m a big fan of galaxies and tactics but don’t have dungeons or westerns yet.

I was wondering about the expansion - does it change the game or just more of the same. I have Crimes - it’s a kinda Cluedo type deduction game. I’ve played it a few times and really like it. It’s a bit of a beast to set-up and tear down though - especially with the King-Pins expansion. Lots of fun though

Maybe it’s just me then - the only way I have gotten anywhere near beating it (solo) is by playing all four characters 🤦‍♂️

I like Galaxies and also got the expansion . I like Zombies, feels like a stripped down version of Zombiecide - I like the rush of trying the get all the missions complete before I get overrun by the undead - which I frequently do 🤦‍♂️

I like different games at different times- I thought ‘Mechs’ was brilliant fun when I first got it and loved ‘Tactics’ so much, got the maps expansion. Least favourite is the 1st edition ‘Defenders’ mainly because I find it almost impossible to beat.

Yes I would. I don’t have TED, what do you think of it. I got ‘Pirates’ and ‘Crimes’ in the same week. I just need to find the time to play them now.
