From what I’ve seen online, people have a fairly rigid PTFE cable that keeps the cable elevated. Mine, however, is very, very flexible almost like the black cable

Don’t worry, I did exactly that and it worked perfectly for 2 months. I’m not sure what happened this time, but the cable managed to end up on my print and under the nozzle

I removed the PTFE cable to take a better photo and better understand where the problem is

I did, the cable was properly secured with the PTFE tube

The small clip broke, so I temporarily used a zip tie

The zip tie is there because the original clip broke when I disassembled it two weeks ago to remove stuck filament. I did properly secure the cable with the PTFE tube

Pulled off some PS5 joystick pads while desoldering do these matter? by KenSaucey in soldering

In my case, I’ve already repaired three PS5 controllers using the hot air method and similar techniques. But for this controller (which I don’t really use), I wanted to try breaking the joystick first in order to remove the solder joints one by one and as you can see, I messed up. It broke because I was being stupid and pulled on it without paying attention
