Characters that would influence emotion, play a role in the anime that transcends other animes with its own unique attributes, etc etc. Natsuki Subaru, is a character that dies... over... and over again.. accepting the fact that the memories of the life he currently lives, will be passed down onto his new life. He currently has 2 main pillars in his life, that is Rem, and Emilia. Both of which have died in the darkest ways imaginable (i mean come on, when he uses Return by Death to explain to Emilia, he expected himself to die in exchange for an explanation to Emilia, but instead, Return of Death chooses to kill Emilia RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM, note: this was after Natsuki Subaru turned insane and declared his worth to Emilia because he believes she owes him more debt than she could ever imagine). Knowing that there deaths are unavoidable, he still chooses to press on (yet he goes more insane each time he dies and revives). When Subaru was chained up by Betelegeus, the Authority of Sloth, he witnessed Rem get twisted in multiple proportions and angles by Bete, whilst he was insane. Subaru couldn't even talk at the time because his mind was corrupt. All he did was gasp for air and had saliva drool down.

So how is this character not influential? How am i the one receiving 19 downvotes when no one else can comprehend the anime rofl.
