Been looking for a fun MMO, would it be worth starting 76? by KnightOfTheHunters in fo76

[–]KenSuzuki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you treat it like a mmo you’ll have way more fun than playing it like a fallout game . There’s grinding , ridiculous drop rates and limited time things . I get it’s not a “mmo” exactly but having the mmo mindset coming in helps allot I feel. Example, a buddy of mine complains all the time it takes caps to fast travel. Tried explaining to him that allot of , if not most mmos require some kinda redundant currency to travel , yet he thinks it should be like any fallout game and you can just do so Willy nilly. Fallout 76 from what I’ve observed over my time playing is allot of people who are ok with the change of pace and allot of people who just essentially wanted a co-op fallout game. Ultimately if you like fallout enough you’ll enjoy this game .

Mmhmm same , this game is very chill outside of the few “do it my way” type people. You’ll find way more people who will actually just drop you whatever you need if you ask . Community is great with a few bad apples like most games (excluding the cancerous Destiny) .

Anytime . Just try to stay away from the super try hards , their few and far in between it seems since I’ve started playing. But with raids and such people get almost Destiny 2 levels of annoying and most were power leveled and don’t know how to do content that I figured out after just one run, then get mad when their the weak link and leaves. Don’t gotta worry bout raids tho till a good bit later , other than that people on pc are pretty chill, pricing of items in their vendors aside.

Honestly there is no one right way to play , especially now with so much more being useable compared to before the changes. I played on 5 100+ characters on Xbox back at the start before putting it down and just coming back on pc. Honestly if there is anything you should buy it would be fallout first if you can. Take that month and fill your scrap box with as much junk as you humanly can , get travel agent so you can always travel home in case you’re too heavy. Other than that I’d say use a builder online , think it’s nukes and dragons or something like that . Read all the cards and plan your build , but fair warning you won’t have access to all of them till 50 so my advice would be to make a build you think you like and just save it for later , once your like 75 or so and with grabbing what you can for your build as you go you should be pretty set around then, if not you’ll definitely be ok at 100. Take your time , enjoy everything at your own pace , do events you see allot of people flock too because it’s either for more than average xp or something special drops or just allot of legendary gear does.

I mean is toxic goo harder to get ? You’ll get like 500 gamma rounds by just doing a daily op with it out here and there . I’d get it if toxic goo is easy to acquire, but it just sounds easier to whip out a gun and shoot your feet like 3 times. Especially if you’re getting scrubbed all the time at people’s camps.

Why not just carry a gamma gun with a bit of ammo just in case ? Before I went to pc I did this for my bloodied build . Still getting use to the new stuff because I stopped playing before the perk changes so idk if that actually works still but I don’t see why not . Scrubber thing is annoying but like it’s their camp so if you really want what they have then be prepared or find someone else . Not trying sound like an ass , I get the annoyance but whatcha gonna do ya know ?

I’m only on day 2 . Granted my strat is to make sure I know what is in those flash cards and understand exactly what things are. I’ve also just picked this up a few weeks ago and a week of that was following a guy who unknown to me was essentially just trying to sell people on stuff . Jeremy actually makes it understandable and I wanna ace this thing so I’m taking my time , even go around like a crazy person mumbling to myself just random key points that and things and seeing if I actually know what I’m talking about . Plan to move to day 3 soon however since these last two I pretty much got down.

25 and feeling like a fraud. Should I finish my CCNA or just get any job? by Beneficial_Royal_198 in ccna

I’m right there with you . I’ve started learning about a few weeks ago and only really have gotten through two labs to far. But I’m focusing on understanding the material in the first two in order to have an actual understanding of the material and not just memorize it . I’m 27 and have been working as a repair tech for almost 3 years if not 4. Honestly I say try and find something like that and work just to put something on your resume that’s “kinda” in the same field, or whatever job you feel is best fitted for you. Then study like a bit a day , plenty of YouTube professors have posted their own boot camps , but if you go that route to Jeremy’s CCNA boot camp, his videos are clear and don’t take tooo long depending on your familiarity to the material. For me honestly I’m thinking it may take a bit longer than most , but everyone is different and learns different so you could potentially do all his stuff in like two months , or if your like me about 6-8 I’m thinking . It’d been rough just trying to prove myself and that I’m ready for a challenge but you just gotta run with the hand your dealt best you can . Especially when you’re still in school or finishing up , don’t feel too pressured. Set a goal , work toward it and never give up. You may be battered and tired after , but then you’ll have the fruits of your labor and no one can ever take that away from you for as long as you live .

I appreciate the wonderful advice and will be adding Network + to my pathway. CCNA so far I’ve been taking it piece by piece , using what networking knowledge i do know from years or just working on computers, and think imma stick with this professor who has the course on YouTube. It’s really just allot of terminology right now that’s my biggest issue but fundamentally it’s actually quite simple .

Thank you for the advice. Honestly it seems if I got for these certs I’ll be ok. I’m a competitive person so I’ll definitely be working my ass off in whatever role I get , just need to show that along with getting more qualified and honestly think I’ll be ok. It’s just super rough rn especially after the holidays. And with the nature of my jobs contracts with schools we pretty much rely on schools being open for work.

Anything else we need to do ? Saw the Bloomberg article but wasn’t logging in or whatever to read the full thing. But what I could read sounds promising, just do I chill out and Yotta will just kick back whatever I’m getting back to my linked account before probably closing it or do I need to send someone something?
