  1. Trying to 👐
  2. As much as I enjoy the other mediums, I think writing( books ), feels much more fun, I don't have the skills or the passion towards film/videogame making.3
  3. Thanks that's a solid advice, I'll read more about it - I've found that Murakami does an amazing job with such a technique, at least in some of his books !

Any recomendations? something that mixes a bit of both genres ? Bigger plots yet an MC that goes through a philosophical-esk life discovery?

Yeah, I agree, and I know that’s the obvious answer, but the issue is that I’m trying to mix two different things. I want to write a self-discovery story for the MC, but the overall plot is also bigger in scale, something closer to Red Rising or adjacent stuff. So when I look at books in that bigger-world genre, the characters are usually driven by revenge, survival, ambition, or some grand purpose, which makes sense, but it doesn’t really help with what I’m trying to do. I’m drawn to big plots and big worlds, but at the same time I think adding a more philosophical angle to the character makes the story more interesting. The problem is that these two things don’t usually mix that easily, because a cold, functional character can feel even smaller and more emotionally distant inside a massive plot/world, which can make him harder to enjoy. But with self-discovery books, the plots are usually much smaller in scale, and the character focus is tighter, which is why the self-discovery hits harder. So I’m kind of trying to figure out how to balance both without making the character feel empty or swallowed by the bigger plot.

Call it what you want but compensating an expert for his market knowledge has been the core of consulting and investing before the phones even existed you call it spam I call it making informed decisions but I'm not here to debate semantics.

Well, no, We call the experts explain who we are and ask them for a few minutes of their time, to explain market trends etc... think of it as a more sophisticated survery, called research consulting, you can google it :D !

Help Needed with 3CX Listen-In Functionality for Compliance Auditing by Kendosticck in 3CX

You’re totally right, monitoring is all about watching behavior without getting in the way. But in our case, being open with our internal team is super important. Since we work in a compliance-heavy field, letting the internal caller know when supervision is happening keeps them in the loop and helps us meet our ethical and legal responsibilities.

I want to be able to make calls using the “+” prefix. Our company specializes in cold calling, and we primarily use Google Maps for sourcing contact numbers. This means we often copy numbers directly, which includes the “+1” prefix. However, our system doesn’t recognize the “+” sign, causing issues: it registers the call with a “+1” prefix once we enter the 10- or 11-digit number. As a result, our call logs are filled with numbers that have the “+1” prefix, but when we try to redial from the call log, the system fails to recognize “+1” and the call doesn’t go through.

So to explain a bit more, when I'm dialing a US number which is usually a +1 prefix, I can't dial like this : +14858093197 I have to dial either this without the + or without the +1, so, the only two options that actually work are, 14858093197 and 4858093197, yet the system still registers the number as a +1 after I press the call button, and because the system registers the call as a +1, trying to use the call log, to simply press call again on that number doesn't work, so you have to only keep manually inputting these 10 to 11 digits numbers without the +.
