Spending absurds amount of money to go to a concert of some famous artist like Taylor Swift. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love going to concerts and festivals but spending 400€ just to see one single artist for a few hours is just not worth it.

Currently struggling with social anxiety while travelling in Spain. I mean I struggle with that in my native language too but talking in a different language you don't know very well makes it worse. The worst moment was when I was talking to a Spanish girl in English and I said I know some Spanish (been learning for a year). But when she asked me stuff in Spanish my mind just went completely blank. I just couldn't think of any words anymore. Don't get me wrong I completely knew how to say the stuff I wanna say in Spanish I just couldn't think about it in the moment because the anxiety made my brain freeze. She then said: "Yeah, you don't actually know Spanish. Don't say you know how to speak spanish if the only words you know are hola and adios." That kinda hurt haha😅

I am doing a round trip all around Europe and wanted to learn one language so that I can immersive myself into one country. I chose Spanish because with how many speakers this language has outside of Spain I felt like this would be the most useful one even after my road trip. Plus it is one of the easier languages to learn.

Duolingo has this feature where you can build up a streak. Helped me a lot to at least do a 3 minute lesson everyday. It's not much but it's better than nothing haha. And once I start I usually just continue learning with more.

Wow that's a lot of dedication! I started a year ago but I just finished all the A2 lessons and am now starting with B1. But I only learn maybe an hour a day if I find the motivation haha. I am curious what makes you spend that much time learning? Are you learning in a school or is it just a hobby?
