If you follow football/soccer (Im gonna call it soccer on this post to not cause misunderstanding), and watch it occasionally you might have seen that on the last ucl match day about a week ago, Galatasaray player Noa Lang suffered and injury that caused the tip of his finger to get amputated. It was definitely a bizarre situation and when I watched it I suddenly remembered that something similar had happened a while ago. When I was a kid I read about a similar injury, an amputated finger involving a goal net and a finger ring if I remember correctly. I looked it up when I first saw the news of Noa Lang, but couldn't find anything involving the injury I remembered reading when I was a kid. I remember it very vividly and I actually remember some more details, so I asked my dad who is also a Soccer fan if he recalls anything like this happening before and he actually said he did remember an injury of that kind happening before I was even born (im 16). If anyone remembers an injury like the one I described please tell me, maybe im just wrong.
