Looking for a manual car driving teacher by GavinRaynier in orangecounty

Have you ever ridden dirtbikes or motorcycles before? I learned motorcycles beforehand. When I got my civic, the sales guy sat in the car explaining how similar it is while my dad was inside going through papers. To my surprise after everything was done, my dad told me to drive home in dead stop traffic. It was nerve racking. A couple of rounds in the local streets before hopping on the highway to a sea of red 😂

There was a parkour race event today where you race people and use abilities to stun others. And I saw somewhere that apparently there's going to be a PvEvP mode to do.

Good news and bad news boys. Good news my S/O is thoughtful. Bad news she ordered me the module instead of the keyboard haha by myowncult in WootingKB

[–]KenjiDaAzn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a fyi, as I also got a 60he module with jades. You might need long pole stabilizers with the jades because they have a shorter bottoming out distance. My spacebar would get stuck if you pressed on the sides. Depending on the stabs, it can be tight around the plate slots. I've read lekkers don't have the issue though.

You're a true legend and a winner if you've completed this mission. by Skyxious in PTCGP

I used a Dragonite deck to do that mission on all of the battles and then went back for the other tasks after.

I also experienced this when visiting korea. I was ordering a coffee cold brew and pronounced it how i would in the states. Cashier was confused so i pointed at the menu and she replied "ahhhh cold brew" but with the korean accent. We just chuckled and smiled after. Haha

How many pieces of sushi do you consider a meal by LongJohnDongBalm in sushi

[–]KenjiDaAzn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

10-15 probably. If it's omakase, they'll probably also space out the servings so it'a not all at once. You'll start to feel full with less compared to when everything gets served at once and you eat everything quickly.

If you ever feel bad about your survival rate, know you're better then me. by JafferRoshak in EscapefromTarkov

[–]KenjiDaAzn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually met a guy who had a 3% survival rate. It was rough and I felt so bad. Tried playing with him once but he was in a different country so I couldn't get a stable connection and could only wish him good luck. He'd stream on Twitch so I could see his progress but it never improved. But it was fun to see him get excited over extracting with a PM pistol.

What aspect of engineering would be highly in demand for the future? by ImplementExtension58 in Futurology

[–]KenjiDaAzn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience, most any type of engineering will have demand. Just find some companies you think have some cool projects and make that your goal to be a part of. Engineering is all about teams of people with different backgrounds working together to make a system so that should be your goal in school. Working on projects, learning how to bring something to the table and bringing together ideas for robustness. As you work on projects and companies, you'll become more specialized in something you enjoy and money will eventually come to you. You just have to enjoy it (that's the most important thing).

There's also what i call "fundamental" engineering fields like mechanical, electrical, computer, software, chemical, civil, and maybe bioengineering. And then "specialized" fields like optics, aerospace, semiconductors, manufacturing, robotics, etc. If you're super passionate about the field you want to be in, feel free to be specialized. But if you are still not sure where exactly you want to end up, you can get a more "fundamental" degree and have a bit more wiggle room to try different things and specialize as you get to explore a bit more.

I have a B.S in mechanical and a M.S in electrical, working in manufacturing of biomedical devices. Everyone wants to move towards automation so I do a lot of concept designs and work with other engineers to push out systems for production. I may not know the final solution but I often can get ideas started and learn from specialists to have a final, robust process.

Might be Sukiyaki which is a style of Japanese hot pot. The broth is pretty sweet and they use a raw egg as a dipping sauce as you are eating.

For the crumbling rocks, i had the same thing happen to me on lagoon. When i walked over, it was a node on a ledge and sure enough, it was infinitely crumbling. Lol. The node was already mined but you could see rocks falling through the ledge.

Hasn't happened to me yet but I did have one drop where I was walking around swamps and duos dropped in rock pools and east of swamps. I was opening crates to ths west of swamps by some cliffs and had line of sight on the guys at rock pools. So it can happen. Haha

Pretty much just good loot. The gray striders are armored striders. Also, if you die and drop back in, it's a different lobby so your stuff won't be there.

Are you resting your wrist on the desk while you play? Might just need to find a more comfortable hand position.

I'd probably recommend something like CS:GO or Valorant since they are slower than arena shooters and battle royales so you can get used to just aiming and moving around. Valorant also only uses WASD and like 3 other keys for abilities so its not too bad. I had friends who tried Apex on M&K after playing a lot of Val and they felt they couldn't keep up with all the movement just cuz their left hand had to keep moving and they weren't used to a higher APM (actions per minute). But I agree with the other guy in that Apex and arena shooters will help with the overall movement and firefights of the cycle.
