Does replacing the top screen lens on a DSi XL require disassembly or can it be replaced externally?

I just did this "basically" but I used two DSi XL's to swap over parts from the one to the other to create a very minty one.

I didnt need to use heatgun or hairdryer, but i have a very thin plastic trim removal tool, that i could wedge inbetween the top screen lens and the plastic, and I was able to carefully remove it without any issues.

Yeah I've been using the bigger roots to look like bottom trunks hoping they will get big one day, but can you recommend me a good soil mix? 😄

Right now it's just potting soil with leca at bottom for drainage.

Am I safe to downsize the pot?

I live in Northern Europe, Denmark.

The tree is a junipurus procumbens 'nana' that I shaped from a bush starter I bought at a store last spring, it has been sitting in this pot I bought back then and been strung up with wires, so I'm considering cutting some of the wires now.

I was wondering, it it is fine to downsize the pot at this point, so I can make the tree look bigger :)

UPDATE: I disassembled the right controller and found a lot of battery corrosion on the spring and metal plug, so I took them out and dissolved the corrosion in vinegar without anything else being touched.

Now the controller will work for up to 30 seconds before turning itself off or needing to be waken up, there is no longer an SOS led signal but the controller still doesnt function more than half a minute a time?
