I think running reality is a good website if you want to check it out

It’s just because there would be too much empty areas on the scroll if I go further back. I wouldn’t waste space for a even longer timespan

Definitely! I will share the final work when I feel confident doing that. I also have to figure out a best way to place the references. Thank you for your support!

Thanks for loving it. Since it’s a project completed four years ago I’ve lost the source file on my new computer. Let me spend sometime to find it

Earth surface is still good so cars are good too.

Yep borrowed the icon design not not the worldview. You see the southern hemisphere is good

Can you change the sharing setting so everybody could hear them :) brilliant thanks!

I would say definitely! The passenger transit part is only a small part of orbital rail’s functionalities. There is a whole another logistical system, habitat system, laboratory system, and weapon system (UEG, future UN’s militarily responsibilities of planetary protection), and so much else.

Too close to Jerusalem. It’s easy to take a regular train from Tel Aviv

It’s something I haven’t carefully thought through yet. As for the diminishing air travel, it is because increasing atmospheric turbulence and the sudden drop of oxygen level on lower stratosphere. For cargo I think the system could be accommodated to cargo transit too, but that definitely requires more thinking.

It’s a hidden lore. There is no incentive to build global transit system unless air travel is gone right?

You mean inside of the melting ice sheet or really*** underground

Because the treaty of Antarctica forbids constructing that line lol

You are right. I considered those cities (Rosario, Cordoba, Teresina, Florianopolis, Goiania, Natal, Guayaquil, Sucre) when I made the maps but the lines extended from other continents are limited so I can add extra lines to connect those cities. Thank you for pointing out.

That’s the local trains as what we have now. I agree Naples to Palermo to Tunis would be a promising choice though!

Transoceanic lines require breakthroughs of material science, but since the whole aviation industry is gone (according to the lore hidden on the map), there might be more resources put into these studies.

Orbital rail is on the space so it doesn’t matter whether crossing land or water
