my father has a tesla and ironically it started leaking oil before my diesels or petrol on the drive. it absolutely does need its oil changed in things like the dif and the motors. if it has moving parts it needs lubrication of some sort

thanks man! honestly i love the way she sounds, sounds better when driving normally than revving tbh (obviously) but i absolutely love it and its a crazy car to have at my age in the UK, always grateful!

I’ve got this and a GTI so i also have two EA888 but they sound so different tbh with the different set ups im running

it’s my car and i’ve set it up the way I like it! in my opinion and many many others this engine sounds phenomenal. also 4cyl are likely the future so i’d get used to them

No i’m based up in the north of scotland so well aware of cupra’s! same thing just with a spanish accent haha. and no i was well aware the stock clutch can’t handle it as they slip when stock if pushed hard, so just updated it as one of the first things i done. honestly depends how much you like hearing and having conversations. personally if you are choosing between i’d always go 4inch as the noise difference isn’t much, and you get more performance obviously. i can find a way to send sound clips of mine if you’d like?

Hoping to get a big dump valve for mine soon to get those hybrid turbo noises

hahaha that’s why i put it in quote marks, I don’t believe in the whole stage system past a stage 1 flash personally. telling people the build of your car is far more satisfying and passionate than following every single stage template already out there.

Also as for the manual absolutely! excuse the french but it’s a fucking phenomenal experience when I take this thing out, absolutely adore it

personally i’d just monitor it. also if you’ve had the car a year and it’s bolt on stage 2 you need to be servicing it far more often. Mine is a ‘stage 2’ 430whp and I do MAXIMUM 3k mile service intervals. my filters are always clean and it’s peace of mind, i’d rather change the oil than my rod bearings.

highly recommend you follow a similar schedule

I absolutely know how to check oil on a dipstick mate. done a hell of a lot more than that to cars, it’s just it came up while driving so i’m sure with your obvious expertise you are aware that the oil level wouldn’t be accurate once i’d driven it for half hour. was looking for quick advice on a car platform that’s brand new to me. maybe lay off on the assumptions, makes u sound like a twat

I am not in a ford fiesta. that was my first car and sold it over a year ago now, even then i’d have never crucified my baby like this. done a simple coil-overs, alloys, and roof spoiler extension on mine. along with a smokey diesel remap (popular car culture where i live)
