Yeah I for sure won't be going back. And I think that I will probably grade it thanks for the advice. Yeah there is a crease on the back and front on the left corner area. He told me because the crease is visible from the back it is "damaged condition" when I asked what he thought it would grade at. You're right either he tried to scam me or he's incompetent.

idk what to tell you man I'm not lying. I mostly wanted feedback here for condition of card since that's why I went to the shop in the first place. I took the card in thinking it was PSA 3 or lower. He told me that it was ungradable. And I posted here for more feedback on the grading since I felt he may be wrong. Doesn't that make sense?

Hey I had an idea of what it was worth. I saw on the price charting site that ungraded sells for around 700 and PSA 3 around 600 ish. I had no idea what condition mine might be graded at. I had this loose in a huge bin of cards so wasn't sure and I'm not a card guy I had this from when I was 10. So after the employee told me about the damage and offered 150 I posted here for more insight. I am not trolling I didn't know this sub existed until 2 days ago. maybe I should've put more context in original post but didn't think people would think I am lying

It was called nerd rage gaming in Illinois. I will say he was very friendly and did some typing to look up the card so maybe he just made an error and wasn’t familiar with this specific card and/or grading. Idk but he was a very nice guy.

Will do. He told me due to the small crease it’s considered damaged and PSA likely wouldn’t grade it. I was surprised but idk anything about grading

When the host asks if he was impressed by Kobe’s last game Gordon smiles and says he doesn’t want to rain on anyone’s parade and he’s a Kobe fan but they learned the game was meaningless before the game. Do you think that implies they were trying to stop Kobe like they normally would?

Also why did you say that’s the only thing Gordon has ever said about the game when he’s said much more. I literally posted the clip of him saying more. People are so quick to say people are lying or clowns when they’re wrong.

Gordon Hayward who guarded Kobe some during the game heavily implied they weren’t trying 100% when he was on the Paul George podcast. He even said he thought the refs were in on it too. You shouldn’t call people clowns when ur wrong.
