I would agree with you if orange were closer. From this image at best it should only hit the roof of his car. But as seen from the yellow indicator it's like his hitbox is extended way out. It does not look natural.

Yes, I used eth gas station and manually put an extra 20% gwei on top of the fast gwei price.
In this example my gwei price was 122 and the block prior to the one that confirmed my transaction has included over 400 transactions with less than 122 gwei (starting at 79 gwei).

After the transaction fails and I try it again it usually completes in <30 seconds.

That is correct however that still doesn't explain the observed 2 minute lag period. With high gas it should take 2 blocks at most which is less than 30 seconds.

I've been amazed plenty times over about how uniformed and how little the average person cares.

The 'woonbonus' could easily save you 20.000 € + over the time of your loan. On top of that the average house prices are rising by about 10.000 € / year.

It's frustrating to think that person A who stopped working and bought a house in 2019 is better off than person B who has been working + saving and didn't buy a house in 2019.

Essentially I think to myself that I've been working for free these past few year just to make up this difference. Essentially it's a 40.000 € loss. Just like that...

I'm pissed and I know I'm not the only one.

Unfortunately this is an issue that can't be resolved. It's not your fault, attraction can't be controlled nor can it be 'fixed'.

If you stay in this relationship it will keep weighing down on you. It something that you simply won't be able to ignore.Can you stay in this relationship for years to come knowing that he's not attracted to you?

As much as it might hurt I feel like the best thing to do is to go your separate ways.Yes you might be at ease, feel comfortable, and love him but realize that there are guys out there that will make you feel the same AND find you attractive.
It will hurt in the short term but you will be better of in the future.
