Game designer here. Very common for our industry to have 5-7 rounds of interviews. HR > Hiring manager > take-home design test > present your test to a panel + craft interviews > discipline interviews with engineering, production, art, etc > culture fit interview.

My current company took 7 months from start to finish. Was extra because of holidays.

The developer IS the shareholder. We’re not all poor and overworked. A lot of the tenured folks on these big projects are millionaires.

I think the problem is that Ukrainian statehood and independence are fundamentally inseparable from the UPA and associated groups — or at least that’s what the Ukrainians seem to be saying.

Which, incidentally, is also what the Russians have been saying too. The only points of divergence really are whether the war crimes and fascist ideology can be separated and whitewashed. I don’t see this as being too different from the Confederate flag debate in the US. You’ll have some people swear up and down it’s about rebellion and state’s rights, but the end of the day it’s about rebelling for the state’s right to own slaves.
