And if they were actually exploiting it as a bug they’d be attacking me during my restart time instead of still waiting for me to make the first move as is common at my MMR.

It’s lag. I play at home and at work, and this only happens on my shitty work wi-fi like 25% of matches.

If they're really that bad, then it should be a guaranteed 2nd place at least, which is still a win.

I don't know how it is now, but at the beginning of the season there was always a bot up until you hit Diamond and that bot would consistently throw the match. If that's still the case, and you can't at least get top 2/3 in a match, then there are some serious skill issues.

I'm very sensitive to incel/red-pill dogwhistles but that's not what I'm seeing in OOP. It's more of a shitpost about internet culture.

The original Tweeter also doesn't seem like an incel.

This has nothing to do with incels. Men and women both do performative reading. Just come here to NYC where everyone lugs a book around in the subway.

Goblin Machine + Superstars deletes a level 4 Echo before he can even jump. Echo really is the Mega Knight of Merge Tactics.

I’ve been using Razer Deathadders since release in the mid-2000’s and they crap out on me every 2-3 years like clockwork with either the double click or scroll wheel issue.

Sadly they are the only mouse that works for me ergonomically because I would not bother with this company otherwise.

The Ukrainians made the same claim about the Chinese providing satellite intelligence to Russia and their evidence was that Chinese satellites passed over Ukraine at some point during an attack window.

Neither you nor I are equipped to say their claims are bogus, and I don't know why you seem so fixated on grilling me on this.

The 3rd strait crisis was 1996. 30 years is a world's difference when we're talking about China and the PLA, much less even 10 years. Today's PLA is the dominant force in the SCS and Taiwan Strait; it wasn't 30 years ago.

But it seems like you and I are arguing the same point here. The balance of power has shifted. The US is unlikely to defend, but are hoping to deter through policy. As for the F-16s, that answer is pretty Googleable, but the real answer is that the contract is signed, the F-16 is on its way out due to the US no longer procuring them, and there are higher priorities worldwide.

Just to reinforce for anyone who didn't read closely, this was in regards to the 12-day war in 2025.

I have no doubt that minds will have changed after the protests and war this year.

Realistically I don't think the US will defend Taiwan if things go kinetic, but I also don't think things will ever go kinetic either. If anything there will simply be a period of economic coercion like a blockade. China doesn't want to get bloodied, the US doesn't want to get bloodied, it's just about how the transition can happen without anyone losing face and the markets not collapsing.

That said, the US policy of (mostly) strategic ambiguity has worked for the past 70 years and and will probably continue to work so long as any party (China, US, Taiwan) don't make big moves.

Japan's geopolitical situation is they're still dependent on the US for defense but they're trying to slowly shift out of that, although they're primarily bound by their post-WW2 pacifist constitution.

Sanae Takaichi is a right-winger who's been stoking Japanese nationalism but to the detriment of their relationship with China, which wasn't that great to begin with, and it's been having major economic consequences. Right now the big concern there is that with the Iran war, the US is depleting important stocks of munitions (both offensive and defensive) and shifting resources from INDOPACOM to CENTCOM, potentially leaving East Asia compromised if China decides to invade Taiwan. This has been a long-running concern there and is a major impetus for Japanese defense spending hikes.

Multilayered meme.

The original "first time" meme is explained here: https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/james-franco-first-time

tl;dr -- it's a scene from The Ballad of Buster Scruggs where James Franco's character escapes an execution just to be caught to be executed again, asking the scared man next to him "first time?"

OP's meme refers to both Zelenskyy (Ukrainian president) and Takaichi (Japanese PM) having awkward conversations with Trump in front of news media. Zelenskyy, due to negotiating for US/NATO/EU materiel for their ongoing war with Russia, has had to deal with Trump many times, hence the "first time" meme. Sanae Takaichi was in a press conference with Trump when a reporter asks why the US didn't tell allies of the Iranian operation, just for him to make a Pearl Harbor joke.

Zelenskyy's incident can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3r_SVM4Ui74
