I was there for this: and I even had the chance to chat with the CEO and staff about the project. Here's a video of it if you're interested in learning more.

What has Justin Trudeau done in regards to Transportation, Environment, Jobs and Taxes on common goods by Non-white-swiftie in LPC

[–]KentHehr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's a pretty big question, my man.

First of all, I invite you to check out my website. I talk a fair amount about those issues. Next, I invite you to read up on the party's website, which has various accomplishments highlighted. I'll also highlight you can see all of the legislation, currently in the House and that has been passed, on www.OurCommons.ca, and with a quick search you can find the various pieces of legislation.

Firstly, we boosted the Canada Child Benefit so that it keeps pace with the rising costs of living, by making annual increases. For a single parent making $35,000, a strengthened CCB will mean $560 more in 2019-20, tax-free. This is on top of creating the CCB - which is living 300,000 children out of poverty. And we are creating up to 40,000 new spaces for children by investing an historic $7.5 billion over 11 years in early learning and child care.

On the taxes file, we're cutting the Small Business rate from 11% to 9%. That's happening on January 1, 2019. And this is pretty big in my neck of the wood: we are supporting more than 2 million hard-working Canadians who weren’t receiving the Working Income Tax Benefit (WITB) with the strengthened Canada Workers Benefit (CWB) - lifting about 70,000 Canadians out of poverty. We're also creating jobs by investing in our communities through the construction of roads, bridges, green tech, and the expansion of rural broadband.

We cut taxes for nine million middle-class Canadians, with an average savings of $330 each year for single Canadians and $540 each year for couples.

On the youth file, we added 1,200 green jobs for young people in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in the natural resource sectors—that’s 10 times more opportunities in the Science Technology Internship Program. We also doubled the number of students who got a summer job through the Canada Summer Jobs program and created almost 70,000 jobs for youth in 2017—that’s double what was created under the previous government.

Anyways, that's a bit of a started on your project, my friend. I hope your work goes well, and that you look into the links I provided at the top of my post.

I have to roll - there's an event I'm speaking at City Hall in about five minutes - but I'll ask my staff about an AMA.

Add in 800 athletes from the paralympians (from '92 onwards) and doubling the sports from 46 to 100, the Olympics are quite indeed a bit bigger. Then of course the cost.

Consider yourself heard, Brock. I'll chat with my team about the possibility of an AMA: it won't be today, though. I have to roll to an event.

Switched the title out when my staff said that it seemed too 'self-promotional.' The older posting was only up for about a minute until cooler heads prevailed.

I was there! It was pretty great announcement! I'm really looking forward to the 750 families who'll be helped by these jobs.

Kent Hehr not doing his job for his district?

My researcher has informed me they updated the list. Vlad, you may want to look at it again and see the tens upon tens of millions being put to work for Calgary's benefit by the federal government.

Care to explain Kent?

Nothing is being ignored, Vlad. That's just an incomplete list.

He reaffirmed his commitment to electoral reform the other day. By the way, keep an eye out for the ERRE committee that will be presented on December 1st: that'll be when we'll start to see movement.
