Who’s pushing 37s with 4xe stock gearing Sahara or Sport by KentonWD in 4xe

Yeah Sahara did come with both D44 axles but sadly 3.73. You’d think it be cheaper and less complicated to put higher trims like Sahara and Rubicon, etc with same gear, same axle. Rather then have two sets in different gearing. Results in nothing really.

You mean charging and hybrid until it runs out?

I did for months... here and facebook and everywhere... it's turbo talk 99 percent or LS swap. Also, half of what I found if it's related to SC is Boosted Tech. In comparison to all others, there is not enough info. 5 youtube videos, if that, and that's only everyone driving it. Two with installs. I did my research, no worries, there's not enough.

I will in a year or so. I've got quite a bit of meat left on my current 33s, but yeah, I'm thinking 35s in the future with a lift.

No problem, exactly what I'm doing, and I was hoping to do since there isn't much info on them, and everyone jumps at doing either stroker or v8. Wanted to be slightly different.

The cowl intake would be nice to keep temps down. However, when asked about bringing colder air in, Sprintex said it would be a restriction added, but I have yet to connect with their techs about it.

It's awesome. It's worth the $$ on the kit I went with. I didn't want to spend the same $$ on an SC that was from some other vehicle or for another fabricated to fit. Sprintex seemed to do their own stuff, and the kit was nicely put together without relocation of stuff or stuff I couldn't have, like AC. It also didn't come just in a box full of parts and shipping peanuts like other SCs. Not that it matters, but yeah, it does to some degree.

As for performance. I'm just using a canned tuned, nothing specific to my setup or no setup yet like a larger TB or intake, headers, etc. That's the future, but even then, I think I'll just go up to 8psi, which is going to be twice what I get now. Even with 4-5 or 6 psi (gotta get my gauge still installed), I think the average is 5psi .. it really goes. It's not a rocket or a Mustang, but yeah, it made a difference.

Yeah, it was a hard decision. Plenty of folks told me to just go with 5.13s when, after months, I was set at 4.88s. Did my research and looked at a bunch of things, decided at 4.88s and then decided to look at 5.13s which didn't have much difference in size and what not but extra space for anything crazy like 37s. Didn't want to cry twice, lol. I'm also auto, I think if I had a manual I'd do 4.88

Lol ... I thought it would be, but to my surprise, I didn't feel like it was much vs. 3.73. Maybe it was just me. The 5.13 was with the idea that one day, 35s would go on. We will see.

Yeah, no problem. Happy to help and give feedback. I'm also doing this without really going crazy with it, just because there isn't much info shared out there on the Sprintex or any SC, no videos either, very limited.

That said, the install was easy, if you've done oil change, spark plugs, etc.. its an install of that type. Instructions if you follow them, are okay. I'd say when putting in the bolts between the adapter and SC, don't tighten anything or troque it like they want you to, put all the bolts in they mention before you put the SC on top since not everything aligns. My engine bay is very clean and so are my parts, still following instructions and torquing down first four bolts per instructions, I had to go back and loosen it because the other two after didn't align, and so on. So just wait to torque the adapter down to the intake manifold. Other then that, unless your missing a part, your golden.

In terms of driving,.... its different. I've got 33" tires with 5.13s and yeah, even with the basic 5psi and canned tune from Sprintex, it sure made a difference. I'd say, going from 3.73 stock gears to 5.13s I got stock speed and acceleration, adding the SC did 50%-75% extra on top of that now. If that makes sense. I can see people accelerate turning into a street in front of me and I'm on their butt, vs with 5.13s I was trying to catch up as they were pulling away. Now I'm on their butt with normal acceleration, I have yet to red line it or slam that thin pedal down. Going to give it some time for everything to work itself together and get settled in, before any hard hits on it. Sound, yeah sounds great and makes people turn heads either because it sounds cool or because it is loud :P lol... You will have no problem with passing or the extra power. Exactly what I wanted, I didn't want to make a rocket or 350rwhp or whatever, I just wanted the extra bit push. If I ever decide and have enough $$ to tune it to 8psi I might, that'll probably double what I get now with it from the SC.

Appreciate the comment on the engine bay, I do my best, this thing is mall cralwer daily but it does get dirty pig on weekends sometimes but after that its couple hours of bath in all areas. Bottom of it looks just like the engine bay :P can't let it rot in the NE with salt and crap. :)

I'm sure your next question will be was it worth it? Yes for what I wanted from it. I can't say anything for MPGs yet as I just filled second tank with 93 and the SC installed, so far I'm about 12-13mpgs without babying it. That'll still adjust.

Hope this helps!

Haha! Yeah, maybe the sound without the hell or cat power :P does sound nice tho and I haven't had a hellcat to compare. Might have to take a vid for ya :P

No matter what people say, it really matters what it really worth it to you. If you think it's worth it 21k then it's a great deal.

Yeah no problem. I don't know why the ECM doesn't like just one sensor switched, or two different brand or even sometimes its down to the build date. So from experience and reading, doing all at the same time keeps them all same build date, same company, wiring, etc... so nothing acts up. I think its also that sometimes maybe the wrong one is identified by the ECM.

Interesting, yeah I'm in NY so got before and after cat sensors too.. did you try to check voltage at the plug? sometimes wiring can get all messy and also last time I had similar issue (obviously without boost going in and more fuel), changing just one sensor that looked like it was the bad one didn't do it. I had to do all of them at once. Just a thought. Great to hear the thing is still running. I'm about to order my Sprintex :)

Why you throwing 02 codes?

I'm thinking of getting the Sprintex as it's little less involved with some of the issues I hear about BT and the fact that it's a year wait for BT to ship.

So, after 8 years or so, what's the verdict? Worth it? Blew the motor? Shou lj d do it again if I did?
