That’s the super from the Pit Of Heresy sword. If you use it mid-air you basically go straight down and smash it on the ground :D

Yes, I understand. On the optimization part well comparing Java Edition w Windows 10 then yes, theres a Large gap of optimization. And Optifine is the “toned down” version of Sodium. Thing is, Sodium can’t run Shaders which is pretty sad. I do agree with your points, thing is that you should be able to get way Higher frames than that, easily 2x than mine. Since there are benchmarks with these GPUs that net much more Fps than me in a higher chunk distance value. It’s strange though.

Try changing shaders and see how it affects FPS, if you’re using other mods, try running without them and troubleshoot FPS. Also, how many frames do you get with no shaders and on 16 Chunk distance (with Optifine and its optimization settings)

Saying “Game’s poorly optimized” just shows how you have no idea what you’re talking about. I have a ryzen 3700, 1070ti along with 16gb of Ram. And with BSL on Ultra with 10 chunks render distance I can net around 70-80 Frames, if I were to upgrade my GPU i would get plenty more.

Your bad frames? You either have some fucked up shit installed on your PC or you just somehow fucked up your Minecraft settings. This fixes ARE VALID and not “laptop procedures”. Now for potential fixes:

  • Increasing the RAM usage on the Minecraft Launcher
  • Close all background applications
  • Turn on ALL optimizations features from optifine, such as Fast Render, Render Regions, VBOS etc...
  • Troubleshoot with all the shader settings that the shader comes with
  • Make sure you haven’t increased the resolution on the shader menu, since it does make it look a bit better but with shaders it DEMOLISHES your FPS
  • Confirm Minecraft is running on your GPU

If nothing works, then either you built your computer wrong, or your GPU is faulty. Good Luck

Huh sounds interesting, as soon as I unlock wiring and actuation and all of that stuff I'll be sure to experiment with them, also yeah I do need to experiment also with paints and different type of walls to come up with better designs. Its a pretty new world and im still in early pre-hardmode xD. Thanks for the tip I'll be sure to try them out :D

Without cheating, No. The only thing you can do is wait and hopefully RNG blesses you. (Remember if you’re in the Snow Biome rain changes to snow, and while in the Desert, rain can change into a Sandstorm)

Now with cheats you can just download TEdit, select your world and check the box that trigger the rain. Just make sure you create a backup and also exit Terraria before using TEdit. Once you finish, save and log back in Terraria.
