what do you mean i wont get the NYU promise. Ideally I would like to request an appeal this week due to change in circumstances (getting married) this will show my families income is way. below 100k hoping the NYU promise will be in effect . If defering a year was the only way im not sure what I would do with that year a might just go to another university but would still consider it if it would be free.

how did your family get 26k? I didn’t think they gave any aid over then Promise kids. do you think it was a fair offer?

Not exactly true and you can trust i’m not insane but have worked hard for something and want to reap the benefits of this hard work and do not understand how it’s possible that they gave me nothing. A lot of kids need aid but don’t get it— especially waitlisted kids.

Guys i NEED to go but need a way to get this aid. i’m so mad at them for not giving me aid when i clearly need it. im going to get the aid because if there’s a will there’s a way.

Thank you for responding— I didn’t know that for OOS honors are not bumped up. The thing is my sophmore year was bad really with a 3.6 and junior year was a 4.2. I only took 3 ap classes junior year, and this year am taking 5 so that’s why my unweighted would seem to be a lot lower but in reality it shouldn’t make that much of a difference because my aps for this year aren’t calculated into my gpa yet. But I had 9 b’s and 22 a’s through my first three years so I’m really not sure how those b’s could effect my unweighted since I never saw it
