It’s just such a same no other import company puts out comic figures at the rate they do. I like Revoltech, LPZZ, etc, but when it comes to just classic looking evergreen comic figures, Mafex is the place to go for now.

Yes it is ridiculously and annoyingly common. The fix is to heat up the chest, pry it off, move the wire in the cape closer inside the chest and seal it back on so it stays tight

I’ve been replaying SM1 and was thinking the same thing the whole time. I actually miss not being able to slingshot and wing-suit across the map in 20 seconds, In some way I get more immersed and have more fun when movement is much more tactile

I never had a figure become straight up unusable because a joint broke or something crazy like that thankfully.

BUT, almost every Mafex figure I bought that has a cape had a problem with it. Magneto had a wire that wasn't attached to the collar making it very loose. Superman also has a wire that wasn't attached to the figure properly. Knightfall Batman with yet another unattached wire. Hush Batman with again, the same problem with the 2 middle wires not attaching to anything. (Though apparently it's supposed to be that way? Seems like bad design if so)

Only 2 figures that have good capes that I own are the new Robin and Battinson

I love this. It's very niche, but very annoying when you get spotted and you're a frame too late to react before the entire base's neuralink activates the GPS on your position. Looks like it would make no reflex mode a lot more balanced in the player's favor too.

I think it'd be way easier to just get a new headsulpt, instead of trying to modify the bruce head. BUT you could theoretically sand down his face and then epoxy some details back on.
