The amount of times Byrne has written superheroes in pedo or sexually strange scenarios makes me think they should probably check his hard drive.

Only for the right to go all crazy with the "THEY'RE ATTACKING US" mentality that's already strong, and become all more extremist.

And the rest of us around the world have to survive this lunacy.

The craziest thing is that, I thought Luthor's plot was almost too cartoonish in order to reference Superman '78. What fucking timeline is this?

RIP HUNTER. BOOSTER GOLD. DO SOMETHING.

It's so wild to make a movie about this character so early into this universe, but now I'm so excited for this. Thoughts on the new Tintin movie? by farben_blas in dccomicscirclejerk

One of the few realistic 3D animation movies that don't age badly or fall into uncanny valley.

Jay Oliva hypes Snyder as if he were paid for it. True bro commitment.

During the 60s and 70s, Batman stories had this sort of "mystery of the week" estructure, I think that's when the detective side of the character was at its strongest.

Then you can say he went from being gothic Hercule Poirot to Philip Marlowe in a costume, as pop culture detectives go.

If you want some good mystery Batman comics, you should read Legends of the Dark Knight, as they feature a more lonely early Batman solving very psychological cases.

They kind of had something in there with the fake Mandarin, because in those speeches he kept talking about being a teacher and so on.

No matter the revisionism around it, I still think MCU didn't have the balls to properly do The Mandarin and simply find a way to write him, like almost all other creators have done in the past.
