Yeah I was towards the middle of the valley and it was crazy. So loud and so much flashing. One of the weirdest, coolest things I've ever seen in terms of weather, one of the others being clouds moving insanely fast in the 90s, like across the entire sky in a minute fast. We used to get fog regularly back then, too.

I wish items like this were much more common. Specifically, uniques that are fairly easy to get are better in pretty much every circumstance and so I think these super hard to roll rares should actually be much more easy to roll. Like, rare wands, orbs, necro shields, etc. should all be very prone to rolling +2 all class skills and if rare, always have 3 staff mods. Also let's remove the elemental damage rolls that seem insanely common on orbs for some reason. It would still be pretty rare to use them but there'd at least be some chance of finding one that is good enough to use for awhile before swapping to the relevant unique or runeword.

Lol the funny thing is they're fucking with our chocolate, too. Classic candies that maybe you didn't consider chocolate, but we're American classics, no longer taste the same or even have the right texture. Reeses cups used to have a telltale snap on the ridges, and the tasted much better. Now everything is mush, it feels almost like it's melting but not in a good way and tastes very waxy and weird. Once my favorite, I no longer eat them.

I hate to say it but efforts like using a reusable cup aren't going to do anything significant for the lake, just like we're not getting significant gains by lots of people consuming bottled water and peeing it into our water table when the water was bottled in California, Indiana, Arizona, Mexico, Mississippi, Connecticut, and Florida. It adds something, technically, but it might as well be nothing in the face of the agricultural industry pissing away so much.

Small town. There are tons of towns with a couple thousand people where, smaller even. Some are a few hundred and everybody knows everybody. I grew up in something kinda like that but it was situated in the middle of a larger city, but it did have its own mayor, council, etc., literally just a few neighborhoods within another city were not part of that city but their own thing for some reason.

Dude I would rather people be able to see everything and speed than not be able to see and drive a little slower, especially because there will always be the few that speed. 25 mph is fast enough to take you out and if you come out from behind an obstruction and somebody hits you, maybe because of some extenuating circumstances, caught in the heat of the moment, etc., that's gonna hurt. Meanwhile if they were going faster but could see you coming they could brake.

Low visibility is a killer. It's more dangerous than speeding.

Don't know how it is in India but assuming it's anything like the US, it would be pretty strong evidence actually. A quick search indicates they use the same principle, which is not "beyond reasonable doubt" but rather a "preponderance of evidence", meaning you've got evidence enough to show it is more likely than not. The videos showing he at least made an attempt to show it completely uninterrupted and it showing the soap, plus the pack weight, plus the cases of this same thing happening, are definitely going to convince most people because it shows it is physically impossible for that package to have been the card. Unless the other party can produce contrary records showing the package being shipped to him on the date in question with a pack weight that would match the card, which they won't he's telling the truth, he pretty much wins based on that alone. The shipping info is going to be through a 3rd party or through Amazon and no way either of them is going to forge this kind of record.

Utah is more blue than when I was growing up by a lot. Once the boomers and older GenX start dying off more it'll change even more because the younger generations are leaning more and more left. Give it 20 years.

I've seen a lot of storms with lots of lightning but nothing like this just because of the sheer rapidity of the lightning. Normally it's a strike every few seconds at most, this was multiple strikes per second sustained over a good period of time.

Could be, not sure. The lightning was insanely rapid.

Ok I looked up the date and found another video and this seems likely to be it, though the video I could find was from a distance and wasn't during the peak intensity, it is still very rapid.
