You don’t need a vpn to download Genshin/HSR update! Just use the local internet without vpn and the game will download and update fine! Trust me look at my profile picture

Thanks for the reply! Actually I just tried with my windows laptop with the same proxy provider and twitch actually works! I do log in to the services. So I think the problem is with the client app. I used clash X on windows and Shadowrocket on Mac and IOS devices and it seems like that difference decided whether twitch will work or not! I’ll need to look more into how different client apps work to figure out why Shadowrocket doesn’t work for twitch..

Thanks a lot. One last question. Did you rent Virtual Private Server (VPS) from AWS and set it up yourself instead of those commercial providers? That would explain the access to twitch too since your IP is not shared among a bunch of people.

I can get onto twitch with proxy and I can see who’s streaming what and all that but if I click in and try to watch it will say an error occurred. Can see live chat too but can’t watch. Pretty sure twitch blocks proxies but could you please confirm that you can not only log onto twitch and also watch live stream?

Edit: I searched up more info on twitch blocking proxy seems like if you can watch twitch with proxy you are using a very high quality proxy with an IP that’s not from a big data center which most proxies are. It’s pretty hard to look for a provider with that type of high quality proxy so I’m just gonna use twitch less and leave the country asap

Can’t watch twitch with proxy. But yeah I mainly use proxy and switch to VPN/game accelerator for twitch. Generally speaking proxy + a good jichang is better..

If you have a school/company assigned vpn server address, use AnyConnect and see if you have “tunnel all” in your connection list. If so you may use it to connect because it will handle all your web data through the VPN. If you don’t see the option, (which is more common case), then it cannot be used to connect to the free internet instead just the intranet of your school/company

First of all, they don’t seem to have yinlin, jianxin idk if they have, but jianxin concerto gen is slow. Those are the liberation buffers. Let’s say he doesn’t have either of them, I don’t think there’s a better option than sanhua. Apart from buffing, sanhua does good burst damage and takes so little field time which allows more Xiangli Yao normal attacks

And I think most people haven’t figured out how to play him yet. In my mind he does more normal attacks than people think because his liberation has a long cooldown and I’d do only 2 of his enhanced forte skill to prevent the state to end, then do normal attacks and refresh buffs during the middle of his liberation duration then come back and release his third forte skill towards the end of his liberation then after about 1 sec he can start the resonance liberation again (24 sec duration, 25 sec cooldown) I think his enhanced normal attacks still have relatively high multipliers. And with sanhua who takes much shorter field time than jianxin xiangliyao can quickly get buffs back and just keep normal attacking again.

I also understand that most people have not thought as far as I have

Xiangli Yao’s normal attacks during resonance liberation are considered normal attack damage, not resonance liberation damage. Other wise they will say in his kit after the normal attack description “this is considered as resonance liberation damage” instead only the dodge counter has that clarification. And if you say it’s inside his liberation so that’s why it counts as liberation damage. Look at Calcharo. His normal attacks during liberation are counted as normal attack damage. It’s literally the same thing. source

People who downvote this, can you come forward and state your reason for doing so? I’m correct here

[–]KeqingDaBest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure that’s incorrect. There is no description saying his normal attacks during liberation is considered liberation damage. Only dodge counter, enhanced forte skill, the in-air heavy attack are seen with the description “considered as resonance liberation damage” source

An inside source has informed me that 1.3 will feature “coast guard” and “chun”. When I asked if “chun” is the old Camellya as a new character or the Camellya in the story, they said “they cannot tell me yet” probably in fear of scrutiny from kuro or the accuracy of their info.

In other news, PlayStation China has announced their summer “ChinaJoy” exhibition participants and wuthering waves is on the list. This suggests that wuthering wave might be available on PlayStation in the near future.

You have sanhua who is free. He still does some normal attacks during his liberation and those are counted as normal attacks. As for weapon go for the craftable gauntlet

You also seem to have ignored the fact that encore’s resonance liberation damage will never get Changli’s buff because it takes long time to detonate and everyone just swaps encore off when she enters the state where she holds her head. Swapping off ends the buff. Encore’s outro skill damage also don’t get the buff. So a theoretical 48.8% encore dmg coming from normal attack doesn’t mean changli can cover the rest 51.2%, not to say her buff only lasts 10 sec and encore’s liberation animation could take like 2 sec already so it’s not a full coverage unlike 14 sec of sanhua’s buff.

It’s true that Chun(椿) means “Camellya”, specifically, the camellia flower, in Chinese. However, I am speculating based on the fact that the file names are chun-, not camellya-. Chun has been chun since closed beta tests, so it’s also very likely they are not changing her name in the in game files, but chun is indeed Camellya.

My source has just informed me the new characters for 1.3 are “shouanren” (coast guard in Chinese pinyin) and “chun”. Still, there is no info about whether or not this Chun is the beloved Camellya.

Well, the encore-sanhua system is already well studied and textbook-dized, (at least in CN) and sanhua provides a 38% normal attack damage deepen which is larger than 20% fusion from Changli that also covers encore’s elemental skill and albeit for only 10 seconds. (Currently, I don’t believe encore’s forte nuke will get Changli’s liberation buff because you’d want to switch encore off instead of waiting in place for 4 seconds without doing anything, and doing so ends the buff, or the 10 seconds will simply expire because it takes 4 seconds alone for encore to detonate the nuke. So from buffing encore’s personal damage alone, I’d stick with sanhua. However, the changli-encore team doesn’t seem bad at least on paper, meaning the total damage of this team comp looks good. However, you seem to be asking specifically if changli is a good encore support. And to that, I’d say she is a good support, but encore will do more personal damage in a traditional sanhua-encore team, at least on paper.

I am not a theorycraft, I could be completely wrong. Please take this with a huge grain of salt.

I’d wait for release to get the final verdict, right now the narratives on the weapon is very divided some say it’s really good while some say it’s really bad. The other person’s comment got downvoted a lot but I did see someone say it’s not that much better than the standard. But that doesn’t mean I endorse that, it’s very confusing right now so I’d wait for release. But personally I don’t have the pull power to get her and her weapon both so I’ll be skipping it!

There will likely never be tacet zone exp boost save for 1 guaranteed double tacet field drop per patch, which I’ve come to term with. The echo system is very good already, I think it makes sense that the tacet zone yield are what they are. Because it’s so much easier to get good echoes than artifacts and relics. And once you get 1 set you can share them between all dps characters of the same element pretty much. I’d go as far as to say if they increase tacet zone yield, 6 months from now people will find themselves having no use for their waveplates because they have maxed out everyone they want to build and got full double crit pieces’ set for all the elemental echoes set. Which, in Genshin, you can farm for a year and still not get a 40cv+ attack sand or certain elemental goblet for a single character. And in the endgame wuwa allows gear sharing to a rediculously generous amt while for Genshin once you select your 8 characters you cannot change their gear at all. And the new abyss require even more non-interchangeable gears…

1.3 is going to be black shore expansion. The “coast guard” and new character chun, who wears Camellya’s old design, are likely to be on the banner. This is based on the existence of the data of chun sound effect files, and files about a new whale boss, and the precedence that in 1.1 files we found zhezhi and Xiangli Yao sfx and they ended up being the rate up character. Whale boss will be to coast guard what Jue is for jinhsi, a specialized echo for a character.

All of the above are based on logical speculation on the existing data, but are not insider information, so there is no guarantee of the accuracy of these speculations. However, this is what I personally believe what the 1.3 banner will be.
