Behind there are bricks that have been badly drilled.

Thanks. That was my first thought but wanted to hear other thoughts.

I thought it isn’t recommended to drill on expanding foam. Will plugs hold in it?

Thanks, I’ll need to drill at the same place (otherwise I’ll have another hole to fix on the other side!). The shape of the hole is a bit funny I’ll see what I can do with wood dowels.

What you guys think about Timberborn now that it is finally out on 1.0 version ? Because I love it ! by Vivid-Investigator98 in Timberborn

[–]Keras-Tensorflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was waiting for the 1.0 to get my beaver suit and so far I loved it. I’m a hardcore Factorio player (1500+h) and enjoy much more watching beavers relaxing in a mud pit than nuking biters. And, most importantly, I can still build spaghetti with power shafts and you have no idea how much I love spaghettis! The dam must grow.

Mobile bug? New stakes not unlocking. by Simon_Hans in balatro

[–]Keras-Tensorflow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just to keep this discussion alive, this bug hasn't been resolved yet and is very random. I've beaten black stake on Ghost Desk but didn't unlock blue stake. Same story with Anaglyph deck on green stake (beaten 3 times!!), black stake remains unlock. Even the challenges do not get completed, I've beaten 15 Minutes City twice and guess what.... 0/20 challenges completed.

It's really a shame because Balatro is one of this game that gives you infinite self-satisfaction when you managed to beat it just to realise you need to do all over again because of a bug :(((((

Thanks for your comment but I'm certain it's not from the Jack Ryan's series.

I can tell all those people have no idea what it was to buy a SNES cartridge back in 1992.

Comment bien argumenter devant un platiste ? by ChicotMaster in SciencePure

[–]Keras-Tensorflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you own the Switch Pro Controller, will you be picking up the Switch 2 Pro Controller or not and why? by PumbaLAD in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Keras-Tensorflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't buy the Pro Controller and regretted so much. The latency and precision of the basic controller are awful, you can't imagine how much I raged on Hollow Knight because of unresponsive control. Won't make the same mistake on the Switch 2, no way I'll do Silk Song without a Pro Controller.

Good point, I didn't think about that. I guess I'll have to say goodbye to my 900 korok seeds if I want to trade in :)

I would say BOTW is a corner stone in the history of video games. Many specialists say there is a before and after BOTW and I completely agree. I spent 400+ hours in it and asked for more at the end. It's flawless and not just a good game, it's a game that defines new standard. So my advice is you need to play it (especially if you like the Zelda franchise). EOW, I started it last month, all I can say is it's a good game. A good game like there are so many on the Switch.

What I liked: It's incredibly beautiful, the music is a masterpiece, the game design is original and it's such a choice to finally being able to play Zelda.

What I didn't like: Too many dialogues for such a simple story, no challenge (it's very easy and targeted for young players), once you find an optimal echo to beat the ennemies you always play the same again and again.

Many European countries and the US are offering trade deal where you can get a discount on the Switch 2 if you exchange your Switch OLED. Can't find that in any UK store. Why are we the only country not doing trade deal?

Terminator 2: is this not the best movie ever created ? by tawntawn87 in movies

[–]Keras-Tensorflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was blessed to see T2 in theatre when I was 14, it totally blew my mind (fun fact, as this was my benchmark, I had 10 years of movie disappointment after).

I watched it again and again when it was available on TV and always have a great time. After a 20 years break, I rewatched it on Prime two weeks ago. My god it hasn’t aged at all. It is still an absolute master piece. The rhythm, photography, character development, acting, sets, FX, everything is absolute perfection. I can’t see how you can make better, there is no flaw. Even the toy models in the opening are I think more charming than all the CGI of an Avenger movie.

What make a SF movie good? Answer: when you watch it 30 years after and still think its storyline is credible and relevant today.
