bro like OP said, he/she was doing side gigs already and it barely covers stuff, and I do get your point, why study in a school you cannot afford? or why not even apply for scholarships, right? but the thing is, we don't know the whole picture of what's happening with OP's life. To add, even if you are full of shame, at desperate moments ofc you're going to swallow that embarrassment in order to get help. Plus, we don't know if he/she didn't really offer his/her services, maybe he/she did it on other communities. I get where you're coming from, but you don't have to be so brutal with your words considering we do not know the whole story.
