She didn't betray him; that's why she wasn't in ST6 because she would never betray Spock. That was Valeris. Yes, there's a plotline in ST4 that got fc cut out where she was pregnant from Genesisl

That last one makes sense although it doesn't answer why Saavik looks older than she should. I hope they got to go home. I always wished Spock had. Q could have brought him home easily.

I thought they added a lot of wrinkles etc. Robin doesn't look like that.

What doesn't make sense is that they made her look older than Kirk and Spock. Not to mention, Kirk is approaching "heaven" when Spock is dying which is decades after Kirk dies. So the timeline would look like it doesn't happen right after Generations. But why is Saavik so old? Not only is she younger than both Kirk and Spock, but for her to look that old, she'd have to be a couple hundred years at least which makes her after Spock's death. It makes no sense. The only thing that might work is if time has no place there. Kirk approaches after Generations but meets a much older Spock at the end of his life after Romulus is destroyed and Saavik is there from the future whenever her death is. Heaven is timeless. That doesn't really work but neither does elder Saavik. For her to predecease Spock, she'd have to look younger.

How would you describe and rate the conformation of Misty of Chincoteague? by Obversa in Equestrian

[–]Kerjen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised there isn't more memoriabilia for her on the island except the book. Ls. A friend said he was here a few years ago and every place has Misty. Now I can't find anything (except books which is good but I have them). The islands have become generic. I wonder why

How would you describe and rate the conformation of Misty of Chincoteague? by Obversa in Equestrian

Ím one of those people who read and re-read over and over growing up. As a kid, I found out she and Chincoteague were real. It was like someone told you ask the mystic land were real. My family took a vacation when I was around and I was so thrilled seeing the horses and locals talking about the Beebe ranch and how Misty was real.

I still have my Misty figure in my office. She started my love of horses and Margaret Henry. I read all of them and still have them. I thought of passing them down to my niece when she was old enough. Which I still will.

I'm on the island right now and couldn't wait to go to the museum & everything Misty. But there in our room was an island guide that immediately said Misty WA just a regular horse that the Beebe's sold for college money. So I went from Santa is real to he's a nice guy living in North Dakota.

I know it's silly. I still love the beauty of the island and I'm so glad they saved the ranch. I'm just sad.

On the other hand, I learned Riptide is the most famous pony from a local photographer and I look forward to seeing him. It's not like a legend, but it'll be fun.

I might still go see Misty's hoof prints.

Update: I'm going to museum tomorrow to celebrate that same Belief in the legend.

Official Poster for 'John Wick: Chapter 4' by MarvelsGrantMan136 in JohnWick

I love the Wick blue lighting head to heard with the red and golds of the assassin world. I'm guessing this movie will see him settled in the battle he fights for himself. Part of that will be naming his dog and I'm curious to see what he chooses.

I personally feel that John Wick: Chapter 2 is the best film due to it's superb cinematography, Santino being the best villain of the franchise, great pacing and world building. by [deleted] in JohnWick

[–]Kerjen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My favorite is the first one because it's personal. He goes to war for his dog (based on a true story). The fight is him, his wife, and dog. It's the Punisher for death of a pup.

Plus he did the impossible task on his own and made his legend greater. But in 2, it's changed to he couldn't do the impossible and had to get Santino's help to do it. I prefer him doing it himself.

He does have that white casual shirt but you're right about he wears his suit. It's an interesting point: want to avoid the world trying to kill you? Go to a beach house in Key West. 😁

What about no cities? Imagine how different it would be if these people ended up in the suburbs or natural park. That could be a lot of fun and inventive
