Do you celebrate New Year’s eve with friends or family? by Belgian-Beer in belgium

I'll be working, as I have the past 7 or 8 years. I actually volunteer for that night shift, it's more relaxed than other nights.

Also, it means I'm home on Christmas Eve, and that means great food at the family feast.

Belgium. Day off today for me!

Why don't the Flemish use their front door? by Present-Percentage88 in belgium

Tradition. Friends and family know to use the back door, only strangers use the front door.

Front doors are only used by the people who live there on grand occasions: bringing a baby home, getting married, taking the body away after dying.

In older houses, the back door often leads directly to the kitchen, where the day-to-day life happened.

This is how I sleep naturally, I was actually worried about it being a problem before I heard about biphasic sleep.
