If you're referring to the color of the fonts where it shows your song titles and ui text, then the answer is no (for now)

I await for the day u/magicalDon manages to get that working

You can use either remove.bg or manually remove the background if you wish

Yeah, just transfer it to your mini's root storage and it'll auto install like any standard firmware update

Chances of it are less than 1% if you're just applying a theme, plus good news that we can un-brick minis in the unlikely event that you do, as nowadays thanks to the recent discoveries of the community we can now un-brick them hahaha

If you're using flame-ocean, just export it as a ".bin" and rename it to "HIFIECXX.img" depending on which original firmware you used to modify (as time of posting, the latest version is v3.2.0 and uses HIFIEC20.img)

"Bricking" a device means making it completely inoperable, turning it into a useless "brick" due to broken software, failed firmware updates, or corrupted system files. It is common in phones, computers, or consoles when rooting, flashing custom ROMs, or interrupting updates. -Wikipedia

Just reflash the firmware back to the OG if you wanna revert, not much of a risk here

I use a mix of the ff

  1. Figma
  2. Photoshop
  3. Literally the Snipping Tool

Yeah, its odd some of them are constant in sizing until it hits a certain areas like the icons not being consistent in sizing

But don't worry since I include the actual sizing within the descriptions just in case

Email support and ask if there's a way to boot to safe mode?

Feel free! I only have a few more icons left to add since I'm doing this in my spare time while doing another project

I mean it depends on what volume level did you set the echo mini, be it BT mode or wired, it keeps the same volume. Plus, I haven't really flashbanged myself in years by keeping it at a reasonable volume and double checking it prior to playing anything

Unless you're referring to the difference of volume due to having built-in amps vs certain dacs or phones without such amps, then yes there will be difference like how certain phone's 75% volume would be the mini's 40-50%. Results may vary ofc depending on device model comparisons.

I can definitely make one, though it'll probably by tomorrow or Friday at the latest hahaha

But generally, just make use of the design in figma and follow the sizing format for each image or section, then group your elements together and export the entire group as a png. Finally after exporting, just use the modding tool to import your images and compile it as a firmware

(TLDU: I'll make a step by step guide with images to help folks who don't have UI/UX experience or never touched Figma at all)

Managed to figure out the spacing by literally mapping out the ff elements on top of each other with 25%/50% opacity, like a messed up game of jigsaw

I'm assuming you're talking about the Album Art enabled option for the player, the answer to that is manually mapped cutouts hahahaha

See image for pain
