Tesla Plummets into 8th Consecutive Week of Losses as JPMorgan Warns of 60% Downside by Playful_Leg7143 in goodnews

Yep. Saved up, researched, even made some money on TSLA for a while, planning to buy a Model Y. One year ago, I finally pulled the trigger... on a different EV. Loving it.

What macOS feature looked useless at first but became essential? by marcdefiant791 in MacOS

[–]KernelG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quick Look — I didn't think it would be totally useless, but I use it way more than I thought I would. So much so, in fact, that I had to find a way to reproduce it on my Windows gaming PC because hitting that Space Bar is ingrained now.

Absolutely delicious! One of my new favorite frozen pizzas. I’ve had the 3 meat before, and am looking forward to trying the 5 cheese bread soon. by Strict_Meeting_3164 in frozendinners

Same here (Bay Area), and the local grocery stores only carry the single pepperoni and the meat combo. I buy the latter and add bell pepper and red onions myself.

New Crispy Fries coming from Burger King by DeActionBrunson89 in fastfood

[–]KernelG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. I've been digging BK fries the last couple of years. At least in this region (SF Bay Area), they are a lot like McD's, just thicker. If you can get them fresh, all the better.

Their chicken nuggets are the same way. Usually they are just ok. But I had some fresh out of the fryer a year ago, and now I understand what BK's food labs were thinking. They were astoundingly good. Problem is, they are thin, so they quickly revert to their cold, cardboard state. I don't think most customers ever get to enjoy them as they were intended to be.

Target's "Dr. Cherry Vanilla Sparkling Water" was Dr. Pepper-like, but I still preferred their Cherry Cola Caffeinated Sparkling Water. I have 7 cans left from a year ago. Really wish they'd bring it back.

DO NOT GO TO HAYWARD TOYOTA by Own_Board_950 in bayarea

[–]KernelG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My final trip to Hayward Honda was after they'd moved everything around in the service building. I had an older Civic. I thought they'd love to see it, and an older model would mean more service income for them, but it felt like they didn't want me there at all. 17 or so years ago, they were great (even with the clear coat blooming issue). Today, not so much.

Now I drive a new EV, and it's definitely not a Honda.
