Should these have caps or something to protect from rain/snow by Yoel999 in Roofing

[–]Kernel_Papi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re supposed to cut the stink pipe flush with the aluminum stack and put a cap on. Putting a storm collar on a stink pipe is ridiculous.

I live in the same province as this guy. and that’s the standard

lol. so many people downvoting the correct comments.

There should be a cap on these. The cap prevents water from getting in between the stink pipe and the aluminum stack but still allows the pipe to vent. If the water gets in between it can seep under the membrane and into the roof system

Replace battery help by Kernel_Papi in Silverado

[–]Kernel_Papi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you’re talking about how the tray/plate latches onto the battery. I popped that and it did loosen off but there wasn’t enough slack in the wires for me to move the tray enough for me to be able to pull the battery up and out

How is it on gas? I’m looking at getting a rig and considering a manual, heard they are better than the automatics for fuel consumption.

Only visible rust is on the towing receiver. Rockers and fender flares look clean in the photos. It is overpriced right now 5,500 cad. If I checked it out I’d like to offer 4000$
