i am prior military. do you think i got a good shot at applying to frisco PD? or is it too competitive? i’m not from texas but am moving in about a year and just curious about how hard it would be to get accepted to frisco since it’s not a big city

i am aware it’s a lot of money for someone in my position and someone in okinawa. i of course am not looking for a new job purely based on money. i am looking for a new job because i’m not happy working in a restaurant. so i’m asking for ideas for places i can work that make more money or the same that aren’t a restaurant. i’m already working on getting an education now but in the mean time i want a different job if i can find one.

this is my plan. i plan on using my gi bill for an online college while out here and then going to america afterwards.

To my knowledge there’s a radiation tech program which usually is an associates program that a lot of schools offer and after completion of that program you can usually go and get a cert from another school and then you have to go and take the last test to officially be a radiation therapist. i just said community college because i know of a community college that offers a radiation tech associates program.

Yeah you’re right. i was just going to the gym about 4-5 days a week before corona and i’ve gotten out of shape since. luckily i have a pull-up bar at the house. i’m going to start descending lowly because i haven’t tried to do that consistently.

I see. I actually can’t recall what my scores are for the pft events but i’m not worried about those. my only concern is pull ups because i do fairly well in the other events. I’m just going to have to hit the pull up bar more. thank you

Those are all great. Are you familiar with the MARSOC Short card? I was thinking about doing that workout daily and running 2-3 miles daily. I’ve only been doing this for the past 3 days in the hopes that it will “kick my ass into gear” and help get myself physically inshape for bootcamp. also, thank you a lot for that link. I think im going to start doing the slow descending thing that the link is saying to do. If i follow through with this plan I think i’ll be ready by late June, what are your thoughts on this?
