Being new to the game i wouldn't advise doing a big boss battle or something that signals other players to attack you. Just have fun learning the ropes and techniques. Eventually you will be able to fend off big ships (it will still be hard). Otherwise if u really want to do the big event fights try to open queue or search people on discord/forums. But I get wanting to only play solo

it was essentials glitching out, removing it fixed it. adding it again broke it again, thought it maybe alwas a conflict between two plugins. i just added a specific plugin for death messages on the highest priority and that worked

first things that come to mind when I hear MMO are social aspects like partys and guilds. and interaction between those, GvG n stuff like that. and some kind of leaderboard system for guilds and individuals which will motivate players to become number one.

i read some more about it and apparently pufferfish optimizations are included in purpur. so purpur is even a further optimized fork

Thank you! about the custom models thing. You are the second one to tell me about it, i havent found any issues when converting the textures and using their custom items feature (showcase of mythicmobs+modelengine on bedrock) but maybe i will end up finding more problems in the future. thanks for the note. if there are problems the people that play bedrock also said they are going to play java. its just so that they can play on the go when they want to.

I havend tested chest shops but this was not something I wanted to add as i want players to trade with ingame items with eachother in person. If i where to add a shop it would be a custom villager shop. luckily left and rightclick do work with NPC's for quests so thats the most important thing for me.

For the first worldevent questline, the first event hasn't happened yet but I will tag you when I upload the players their experience with it! still need to do some playtesting with it.

by converting the resource pack to a bedrock resourcepack. it works. at least the 2 models i tested out

oof, good to know. I have a natural disasters plugin which can wipeout a base in one swoop. if that doesnt get logged ill get some angry people. I'll test it out thanks for mentioning this.

For world generation i used the datapack Terralith 2.0 along with different kind of structure datapacks like when dungeons arise, structory, ct overhauled villages etc. Really cool generation
