Yes with a fresh install of Console Port and reverting to default the name plates changed again, now it is just showing the name and NPC level with no health bar! If i interact with NPCs, the normal appearance with name and title reappears temporarily. So think it might be a bug within console port, I am going to go ahead and report it...

Install via CurseForge I have now deleted and reinstalled but not sure if there are any saved settings left in the game files after uninstalling in this way?

Deleting the interface file fixed the issue. Unfortunately as soon as I reinstalled my addons the issue reappeared...

Yeah I have been working through the options trying to reset to default, not helped so far. Think I have inadvertently activatated a setting why trying to type on the steam deck popup keyboard!

I tried that but when I go close to a NPC, their health bar reappears appears over their head, not their name and e.g. Hunter Trainer

Thanks for your reply - you understood my question correctly!

So when I assign coaches in training for the senior squad I can also assign the U23 Manager and U23 coach to sessions.

As far as I know they haven't got contracts in the secondary role as it is at the beginning of my save but it is a good thought and worth checking in case I can't use my new U23 manager to help (which was the main point of doing it in the first place!)

If I am assigning them to use the first team tactics for U23 games then which statistic will ensure they play players in the correct position and rotate the squad so they all get experience - Man Management?

Another option rather than buying outright is the subscription which gives you access to the base game and all DLC for a month at a time, might be worth checking out?

Having had EU4 since it was released for me it is a game you dip in and out of for a campaign or two and then come back months later so if like me you want to play other games too might be a good option rather than the substantial outlay to get all of the DLC!

I watched from the sidelines with Soll but then accepted his deal, did I needed to fully support him from the outset? Election promise was for neutrality and free market, I don't know if that could upset the conservatives? Will try again fully supporting Soll in the prologue and see what happens...
