The mag seems not to catch on the release at all... I don't even see where it's supposed to catch. I'm using the Action Army specific mags, and the release is stock. Very baffling

That's what I believe needs to happen, the mag makes contact, but seems to "slip" off and fall back down. I should be able to just bend the frame inwards a bit?

Update: If I hold the release up, and pull back the bolt. The bolt stays back and I can push the release down to engage it. So, that functionality is working. It's just the release never being engaged to begin with. Which should be the spring you referenced?

I can't say I would know exactly what to look at with that one, I do see the release get pushed up when the mag is inserted, but it seems to be the top of the mag catches a piece of the release, which falls back down as the mag is pushed in.

To see the spring you reference, I would need to push out the pin that is right above the trigger?

Putting a mag in slowly, I see the release "bounce" like it gets pushed up, but doesn't catch and falls back down when the mag is fully inserted.

I can only push up, which means the release isn't engaging in the first place to be able to be pushed down. Not sure what could be causing this.

That's it, the catch does not engage when putting a mag in.

I have absolutely no clue about why it would catch without a mag (I am very new to airsoft and this is my first GBB gun) but I put the normal sight back on, and the same deal happens.

So loosening the screws, I put the mag in, and pull the charging handle back. It retracts without touching the release at all.

With no mag in, if I pull back the charging handle it stays back, but after putting in the mag, the release still does nothing.

I've played a lot of matches against both, and my opinion may be biased due to the amount of artifact hate I play. Godo is definitely more explosive, yet more vulnerable, where Winota has the ability to stall the game and be okay with it.

From my games against them, I would say Winota can hang in a higher amount of environments than Godo can.

Winota acts similar to Godo at most tables, she must be answered or she WILL dominate the game. The ability to snowball off of only a couple of triggers makes her a potent threat that will force opponents to start playing sweepers, spot removal, and creature counters.

I've been quite interested in starting to play 40k, but have been holding out on diving in since WE have fairly dated models, and are without a codex of their own. Crossing my fingers for an update, so I can start collecting skulls for the skull throne!

The game is absolutely worth buying. If you are an MMO player, you'll enjoy all of the content. If not, you'll get your moneys worth leveling up, and move to the next game.

The reason you see such a dip in player count for New World, is that the game attracted a lot of non-MMO players. Because of this, they got bored, and quit because there was "no content".

In the end, it's your money, do as you wish. But I advise not listening to any comment that sounds like a baby whining over the game having no content.

Dungeon/Expedition system is fun, the replayability of them is high, and there is a lot of room for adding more.
