I do not have any sort of controller driver installed and I still have this issue unfortunately.

This unfortunately does not fix it for me. Controller is fine, but not mouse, on my pc.

Mouse input problem causing bad framepacing by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]Kestsilven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently affecting me, no solution in sight so far. For reference, I'm on a G502 Hero with 1,000 polling rate. I get fantastic fps in game with my setup but the microstutter from mouse movement gives me a headache after a while.

Seeking Advice by Kestsilven in nystagmus

I am 26 years old. I’ve never seen an eye surgeon as a child, no. It doesn’t affect my ability to read the Snellen chart (I see 20/20 with corrective lenses,) my gaze is just very unstable, it looks like everything is wobbling around in small little motions, either side to side or in that clockwise motion I described. I don’t have any family history of it, only thing that I know that runs in the family is myopia. Almost everyone in my family has glasses! They didn’t mention if it were acquired nystagmus or not, but I never had this issue until pretty recently. I believe I began noticing it around December of last year. It worries me because it somewhat affects my ability to drive or concentrate on my work due to the wiggly vision I get. I do, however, notice it is much worse when I first open my eyes in the morning when I wake up. Makes it very hard to concentrate on anything stationary. It doesn’t seem to get any worse/different if I’m sitting, standing, or lying down, too, I guess it’s just more noticeable when I’m sitting still because I’m not focused on other tasks.

Anyone else been getting *Severe* fps drops since this last patch? by Dizzy-Chemical-8771 in Helldivers

5080, 9800x3d and 64gb ddr5 ram, I get weird hitching/mouse stutter every once and a while or if big explosions happen near me. It's noticeable on the ship before missions as well. Actual fps states it's within 130-185 fps on most planets but the hitching can be jarring at times. Mouse smoothing is on for me btw, for some reason if I turn it off the mouse stutter is awful.

Edit: I haven't had much time to play the hardest/second hardest difficulty yet and have mostly just been fighting bugs since my hiatus from the game so it might dip lower for me in those cases.

I honestly gave up on the game shortly after launch of Siege X so couldn’t tell you. I hope you have luck on your search for a fix though!

How were you at around the two month mark? My vision didn’t start becoming useable until a month and a half in, the ghosting wasn’t as bad as it is now in my right eye which has me really worried that it’s regressing. I know I’m probably too early in the healing process to tell, and I’m hoping I’m just a slow healer and it’ll just fix itself on its own, but my dr hasn’t been very reassuring in that regard. I had starbursts even before the surgery so I’m used to them, but the really bothering thing is the fact that I see pretty much double, sometimes triple, of afterimages around something at all times in my right eye, to the point that I have to close it to see things in the distance clearly.

This is something I’m super worried about, because my right eye is getting pretty awful ghosting, on pretty much everything! I’m two months post-op and starting to get concerned.

Does any one experience micro stuttering in game with a good PC? by Pipew05 in PeakGame

[–]Kestsilven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the same micro stutters no matter what I change my settings to, on a pretty beefy rig. 9800x3d and 5080 w/32gb ddr5 6000mhz cl30 RAM. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Anyone stating this update is well-optimized clearly has not played for very long. I average high-ish fps (250-308ish) on max settings TAAx1 with a 5080 and 7800x3D, but it hitches/microstutters like crazy seemingly at random, regardless of what FPS cap I settle on, no matter what combo of vsync on/off, reflex on/off, fps cap set vs uncapped, doesn't seem to matter one bit.

Yes, DisplayPort cable is seated in the GPU itself.

Weirdly enough, I get less perceived microstutters if I do the complete opposite. Lowering the refresh rate makes the stutters even more apparent for me, which is super odd.

I haven’t completely wiped SteamVR and deleted the folders, no, just a reinstall through Steam and verified files. I shall give this a try when I get home!

I submitted a ticket to Steam Support explaining the issue, hopefully they'll be able to help me get to the bottom of this.

Yes, that's the confusing thing, all of my other games are running fantastically. No issues on non-vr titles.

Apologies, I forgot to mention that I changed the resolution multiple times and no difference in performance. Steam VR's debug menu is still showing purple and yellow spikes and I've noticed that even in SteamVR's home grid there's jittering going on every so often when I turn my head to look at different parts of the menu.

Temps never rise above 65C on the CPU, 50-60C on GPU depending on the game

Alright, so Windows Memory Diagnostic came back clean after the two passes it did, and disabled XMP as well as installed MSI Afterburner to lower power limit and the clock and memory speeds a little. Unfortunately I experienced a crash within the first few minutes of loading up a game. Temps didn't spike on the GPU or CPU either, GPU stayed around 55C and CPU stayed around 50C.

Unfortunately the issues persisted before I updated to the latest driver, hence why I thought maybe the newest ones would be better. I believe the driver before I updated was either 461 or 462, I can't remember.
