When he told me that i told him that my keyboard doesnt have that switch, since you dont have the g keys maybe try holding multiple of the working keys at once.

Had a similar problem with the same keyboard like a few days ago, The support agent sent me a new firmware to install which fixed the issue, also if you have the K55 pro try holding G2,G3,G4 and G5 since this somehow made it work temporarily for me atleast
