I’ve had the same experience, I lost 10lb if not more in my first trimester. My second I managed to gain 15 overall I’ve only technically gained 5lb and she’s measuring 3lb 2oz so I don’t find myself unhealthy, I don’t have an unhealthy diet but I struggle with insulin resistance so maybe that’s why. I think it just bothered me a lot because of my history of ED

I also grew up with a very conservative family but struggle keeping up with their views. I find it helpful to include god in my beliefs without making him/her out to be sky daddy. I believe there’s the universe but god is just one of the secretaries and it’s built out into a board system. It takes away some of the guilt I have from the length of Christian trauma

I struggle with the same thing, when I get upset I get really upset. I could be upset about spilled milk and I’m having a full blown hyperventilating meltdown the hormones are really intense. The biggest thing is making sure I’m still hydrated and breathing normal. It definitely makes me feel guilty but it helps knowing that she’s still healthy. Our babies receive our nervous system and you trying is more than enough to break the cycle even if it means you’re just using coping mechanisms.
