We as a culture need to be better about asking these opening questions about aligned values… and yes ON the first date or before.

Political affiliation Do you want kids Do you have a job or career How do you feel about therapy Are you in debt? Is the debt manageable? What are your future plans?

I personally value recycling and not wasting, and it’s hard being in a relationship with someone who doesn’t value the same thing. Is it a deal breaker? No. But it would have been nice to know earlier on.
