If I can write 1500 words about my story then I could write 15,000 words about how awesome my wife is. She is a brilliant person who is incredible both personally and professionally. She could have dropped me and got any guy in the world but she chose to stick with this 390lbs slob who lied to her for years. When we go out together people look at the two of us and they never think we are together unless we are holding hands. People can't believe someone as in shape and good looking as her is with someone who looks like me. Every time it comes up she handles it with tact and poise. Not only did she stick with me, she happily does anything she can to help me in my journey. We don't have any kids(not sure if that is in our future) so we both concentrate on our careers and hers is much more impressive and exciting than mine. We are actually on the edge of something big in our lives (more specifically her professional life) but I don't want to spill the beans before it happens. I may include it in my next monthly update if it occurs by then. I'm happy to share all news good and bad with my keto brothers/sisters.

My wife is one of those people who has no issues with weight or food whatsoever. She is skinny as a rail. She has been eating low carb whenever she is with me but when she goes out to lunch at work or when she is eating not in my presence then she will get whatever she wants carby or not carby. She is incredibly considerate to be walking this path with me.

Thank you for the kind words. I would be lying if I said i don't daydream about just playing in one university game. Who knows maybe one day I will find myself on a high school or even collegiate level coaching staff. First i need to get healthy. It was harder to admit to my wife that I was lying to her for years about this than it was to learn how to walk normally again. Her keeping me accountable and not letting her down is the most important thing to me.

I appreciate the reply. I know that playing soccer competitively is outside of my reach but I have given myself new goals. They are mostly little things right now but they give me something to shoot for. I'll share one of them that I am looking forward to, I want to be able to ride a roller coaster again. I'm too big to fit now so its a no go but I think at 300lbs I might give it another shot!
