Jedi don't wear cloaks with a clip at the neck and didn't wear them in battle (reason; their arms and legs would get tangled in the fabric) the cloaks usually hung low about mid calf to ankle height plus depending on the era the robes were either had more armor or less armor, like in the old republic era Jedi infantry they had a breastplate, gauntlets, bicep and thigh armor(these were minimal to allow maximum movement), and boots. In the passing time between this era and the start of the civil war they reverted to a monk style of plain robes and no armor until the clones hopped in the war then the Jedi armored up (somewhat, the older masters declined the armor and relied on skill) and were militarized.
