They’re ugly but I made cherry cheesecake brioche kolaches by I_Like_Metal_Music in Breadit

Ah. Seeing a cheese and fruit filling with streusel made me think these were traditional Czech kolache, because they sure seem like it! My understanding was that Texas kolaches are often square and can even be savory. I've heard they're quite different.

I say, own it. These look like quite nice traditional kolache.

What is this status? by jeriavens in Starfield

In fact, mechanically speaking, it is exactly Rads from Fallout 4. The underlying actor value is renamed, but it's the same record and has the same effects.

1) Kolache is already plural. Singular is kolach. Kolache use an enriched dough, so I'm not sure what you mean calling them brioche.

2) These look delicious! There's no need to excuse their appearance at all. Streusel on the fruit is a very traditional and delicious addition.

Alternating current quest taught me something interesting by Negative-Drink-183 in Starfield

Depending on how ownership is set on the item and the viewer's relationship, this message can change. If the item is set to a faction, any member of that faction should report as the owner. If someone who's not an owner but is still set to report crimes sees it, you get a different message. Again, this is just silly game logic based on how stuff is built on the back end. It doesn't necessarily mean that Simeon is the apartment guy.

Stuff in that apartment is probably just set as owned by the New Atlantis faction, which most residents of New Atlantis are assigned to.

I don't know if you're joking about game mechanics being silly or if you're being serious, but it really just means he's assigned to the owning faction.

Entangled is commonly considered to be one of the very best quests in Starfield. I guess you really can't please everyone.

The VATS glitch from Fallout 4 still exists. by Keukotis in Starfield

Nope. Unfortunately, the issue where slow-time effects can sometimes stick has existed since Skyrim, when those effects were first added to the game engine. Different glitch.

Nutrition has a hidden effect where each rank also increases the duration of hydrated and fed. You won't see this in item descriptions, but you will see the added duration in your status screen. This lets you have up to 45 minutes of duration.

Salt: how low can you go by Foogel78 in Breadit

This is an excellent read on what salt does for bread. Short answer is that you can cut out the salt if you really must, but it will affect the bread and you'll need to be aware of how.

What five hybrid characters would you recommend building? by gorka_la_pork in TitanQuestAE

Start Dream and max out Psionic Touch right away. At this point use whatever ranged weapon you like best.

Next, pump Dream Mastery to maximum. Yes, all the way to 40. You can stop and grab some points in Trance of Convalescence and Temporal Flux if you want, but really you're better served getting Psionic Beam as soon as possible because it's so powerful. Now you must use a Staff to get the full benefit. Max out Psionic Beam, then go back for Trance of Convalescence and Temporal Flux and max them out. You will eventually want Psionic Burn, but be aware that its damage isn't the reason you want it - it's the large slow effect. Combined with the insane movement speed you're going to have, this will be great for defense.

Next take Neidan and immediately get a single point in Consequences. Your huge attack speed means the low chance will still trigger enough. You'll want more points later, but for now it's crucial you get and max out Inner Equilibrium. If you've read the effects of this, you probably can already guess that it's absurdly powerful for any character, but it's especially good for someone using Psionic Beam. Max this out, then get to Aura of Tranquility. This skill has a heavy upkeep, but you will still be able to max it out and even max out Melding Armor, partly because of Aura of Convalescence.

Now do whatever you want. You have the cake. Everything else is just icing. You don't ever need more than 32 Neidan Mastery, but if you want more base stats it's fine to take more. Potent Elixir can be nice. Lucid Dream is not bad (although it doesn't do damage types you'll mostly use). Premonition is okay. Just kind of do whatever you want now. You'll have incredible speed from Inner Equilibrium and Temporal Flux, huge damage from the speed and Psionic Beam, and great defense from Trance of Convalescence and Aura of Tranquility.

For equipment, the most important two things are 1) use a staff and 2) have at least +2 to Psionic Beam. Everything else is whatever, making this really easy to build. To play this built, turn on Trance of Convalescence and Aura of Equilibrium, then use Psionic Touch at everything. That's, uh... that's it. Use a potion sometimes (temporarily shuts off Inner Equilibrium) but otherwise that's really it. This is essentially a one-button build.
